Well he’s the most kittle like TE to me. Don’t like it at 26 but when you have a handicapped QB have to try and make him as comfortable as possible.

This is my gripe. You’re reaching for a guy you can find tomorrow. TE is plenty deep.

The other issue is Dallas puts blinders up in the first round. If LaPorta is their guy, he will be the pick regardless of who is on the board.

About 3x more catches and yards in college than either Washington or Musgrave.

Cowboys have an excellent track record with drafting elite players in the 1st rd. When they have gotten in trouble is when they have reached to fill a need. I do see a big dropoff after the top 6 TE's and it is possible they can get wiped out, but if they see that happening, just trade up at 58. I'm taking Kincaid or Mayer at 26, that is it!

Both are strictly athletic traits picks, with close to zero college production. I wouldn't touch either until 58 at the earliest.

Exactly right. I much rather prefer Kraft in day two, or any other option on day 2 or 3

It would be surprising. I knew that he was getting hot but I figured that meant round 2.

Who knows? All I know is that he is a really good player that has been flying under the radar. He wouldn’t be the first guy to rise up to the first round right before the draft.

It hasn’t been done yet though.
