Part of being good is staying healthy. I definitely don't think they are very good. I'm not sure what they are but very good? No.

They were ranked as the 2nd best offensive line this past year by PFF and were ranked as the best last year. Take that for what's it's worth but many consider them an elite unit. Of course now that Murray's name is mentioned as an option they're not good.

If Murray ends up an Eagle there will be no way to spin it as anything but bad news for this team.

Let them sign him. If they want to pay him 8+ million a year, by all means, good luck beating us.

I'm not afraid of DeMarco Murray.

I'm a bit disappointed in McClain. Last year was said to be a show me year, he faded fast and his injuries were when we needed him most.
I know injuries are a part of it but his seemed convenient.

I forgot who said it, but it made perfect sense to me when they did. McClain is guy who just doesn't really enjoy playing football. Besides the retirements, he misses practices over the slightest bumps or bruises, comes immediately out of games for the same reason, and maybe his body just isn't meant to handle the rigors of how he plays MLB.

I'm pretty leery about giving him a long term deal this year.

I don't care what they were ranked. I didn't see much evidence that they were really good. And they lost one of their olineman, Herramans.

The fact of mutual interest, i wouldnt even want him back.

You don't want him back to begin with. There are 32 teams in the NFL and players will talk with those who show an interest. Hell Calvin Hill left Dallas and went to Washington and yet he now works for the organization

Bradford will not play a single down in Phila. Murray would be a terrible fit to Chips offense.

Bradford maybe but why would Murray be a poor fit? He plays spread offense so D is in Nickle or Dime all the time. That mean Murray is running against 6 or 7 man fronts! And he can serve as extra blocker.

This makes too much sense!

Oh NO!

Don't want him for anymore then $7mill a year. And I think that is extremely generous.

No way it happens, take that to the bank. From a cap stand point it no longer makes sense for Phila. They have other pressing needs. They won't spend that much for a RB, if they wanted to spend they would have kept Shady.

He won't be afraid of this defense, either. Don't try to spin this. Him running behind an excellent offensive line in Philly...well...we've seen what he is capable of haven't we?

Hopefully it doesn't happen. Him walking is one thing. Him going to a division rival is something else entirely.

I don't give an toss if you like my explanation or not.

Not resigning Murray to a ridiculous contract is smart business.

As far as Murray's career goes...

Look up the name "Chubby Checker" some time. He was an extremely popular pop singer in the early 60's. In the early 70's I remember opening up the local newspaper and seeing that this "Chubby Checker" character was going to appear at our Holiday Inn. My father remarked that he use to be a big-time star.

If Murray goes to Jacksonville it will be the equivalent of Chubby Checker appearing at the Holiday Inn.

ok...

Phila has nothing close to a "excellent offensive line".

If Murray ends up there you'll see all the evidence you need. Hope it doesn't happen.
