How they can possibly grade a top-5 draft in history to be an A- is beyond me.
If Jaylon mostly recovers, it qualifies a the top draft ever.
While some have drafted 4 HOF, those did not include franchise QB which should be worth at least 2 HOF.
Tap the breaks. I love Dak but let's not go crazy.

That show is like walking into the chaos of a first-grade class when the teacher is in the hall.

i do get some sick thrill out of him when he goes into embattled mode after the cowboys do well.
that is his way of getting cowboys fans to drive up ratings...

I think with what Dak did his rookie year, its ok to go crazy on him. Come on when was the last time we saw a rookie season like that from a QB?

Like never.
The only rookie I would say that did better was arguably Marino, who lacked his dual threat mobility.

Didn't even bring up Brown or Collins.

That's what I'm saying... Collins led all rookie DTs last year in sacks and looks like a potential stud at 3T, which is arguably the most important position on this defense. And I have no idea what team the mediots were watching when they say we lost our top two CBS in FA... Brown took the job from Claiborne and down the stretch became arguably our best CB

2012.. lord help us if prescott falls like rgknee did. i don't see it happening because prescott has skills that rgknee could only dream of, but it could happen..

i think a lot has to be taken into account. the easy stuff is easy, its when everything else is taken into account, than it gets hard. I notice not a lot of attention for Brown and i thought he did well for his draft slot, position and team he went to, tho im sure they couldnt bring up everyone. Zeke was a given and did well, Dak surprised everyone. J Smith is a "lets see" at this point. IF you are going to grade drafts, you have to grade everyone in the draft. It would take a long time but is doable.

I agree. Even our own fans don't give Brown a lot of love. I think what he did was huge, and I expect better things from him.

He was definitely one of the bright spots of the draft and helped make the secondary the best unit on the defense.

Hey, I get it. On another thread I'm defending Dak as being a different phenomenon than all the other one-year wonder rookie QBs. I just think you can't compare a player in his second season with HOF players, particularly two of them.

ESPN is trying their best to replace Chris Berman with SAS. Only thing is Berman was pretty good in the beginning, whereas SAS has been anything but, and steadily declining at a rapid pace. Pretty sad!

Here are the 4 HOF in Pittsburgh's 1974 draft
BTW, this came from an article entitled: The Great Draft Class in NFL History
*Lynn Swann, wide receiver, USC, first round, 21st overall.
*Jack Lambert, linebacker, Kent State, second round, 46th overall.
*John Stallworth, wide receiver, Alabama A&M, fourth round, 82nd overall.
*Mike Webster, center, Wisconsin, fifth round, 125th overall.

Right NOW, any one here would take any 2 players from that draft over Dak (in the 4th in addition)?
I would not.
3 of them, I would think about it but the answer is still no.

Completely different. Rg3 was in a gimmick offense, and he can't read a Defense at all. Dak goes through his reads and is playing in an offense that's been in Dallas near 10 years. Another fact is rg3 offense line was god awful his second year

Some scouts believe he played better than Eli apple. Brown played on the outside and the inside this year. He was definitely impressive

As good as the draft was, the Cowboys basically wasted a very high 2nd round pick. So I think A- is fair.

out before everyone proclaims Jaylon Smith an all pro based on twitter footage
