News: Mel Kiper draft grades

Balty did have a nice draft. I’m amazed as I though a lot of that was Ozzie Newsome, but it’s just the same.

I wanted to hire Eric DeCosta here for over a decade. Great GMs typically have great assistants. Fake ones usually have their son.

I noticed that reading through all the rankings. When they drafted Anae and saw where Mel and others had him I thought the boys would be getting consensus straight A’s across the board. Diggs is the only guy on Mel’s board to get the downgrade and still think he should be giving it an A as well but he does state it may be an A+ as well so he was impressed despite the grade. He clearly isn’t a fan of Diggs. It’s been a long time I since this organization has hit on almost every pick. Now the real test...put the pads on boys and show us what you’re made of!

The only pick the Cowboys made that is not an A is the Qb in the 7th round and who cares about a 7th rounder when grading the whole draft ?

True and I noticed that as well but with his statement about rocketing up draft boards I take that as he is letting us know he is apart of the group where the rocketing is legit and he put the stamp on Robinson with his most improved athlete comment in 2019. Either way still solid draft with talent on both sides of the ball. As a fan I’m just taking this as a positive move in the right direction this team held true to their draft board. For me I don’t care if you have a F grade or an A it’s what they do on the field that matters. Still walking around the house today with a smile on a pretty positive weekend. I just saw you have it as a A- so it looks like you have a smile as well. Thanks again for all the informational work you put into these drafts.
