I hope Zeke gets no less than 30 carries a game the rest of the season.

You better believe that Dorsett was moderated. Landry was trying to extend his career by limiting his carries. That isn't anywhere close to being a secret.
You know..

you maybe correct.

I don't remember who they moderated him with.

Ron Springs comes to mind..but not sure.

I really wasn't aware of Dorsetts carries as much as his yeardage.

I 'll go look and get back to you.

I do not think you start worrying about saving a RB's legs who is 21 years old and only 5 games into his career.

I don't recall Dorsett being moderated..

nor Emmitt Smith..

and we have no guarantees we make the playoffs so saving him for that is a false belief.

Now..running Morris more as the end of the season makes sense since the weather will be worst in places like NY and Philly..

he knows what to do in those conditions more..

But you still give Zeke 15 to 20 touches whether it's runs or passes.

The burden to manage things is Linehan and how he calls the plays.

We got a huge break not to have played the Packers in December..

things might have been different.
Dorsett wanted more carries and I remember Landry saying you don't treat a Cadillac like a pick up truck.

Actually, Landry heavily moderated Dorsett's carries the first year.

When Zeke starts appearing even remotely tired, then I will be concerned about his carries.

A lot of backs start to get up slow etc when they are fed the ball 28 plus times, he pops up looking for more.

I don't remember Jimmy pulling Emmitt at the end of games.
Me neither on Jimster.

Or Emmitt.

Now it's really hard to say.

He seems to take everything in stride and he seems be iron willed.

Sort of like Enmitt.

And he glides and has this second gear like Dorsett did.

And he seems to do better each week as he learns about his line.

Fun to watch.

Let him run.

Lots of defenders are going to be on the injury report with the description as "Blunt Force Trauma".

And the ones that don't are going to tell their Grandchildren one day "So I had him in a wrap up tackle at the thighs... and I look up to see him hurdling me".

I have Dak and Zeke at 1 and 2. Yes I'm biased but I can back it up with facts and numbers as well.

Wentz is going to be great. Dak is going to be great.

Cousins has proven he is a good QB and will be in the division for another 7-8 years.

The Giants are screwed!

And I like giving Zeke the ball- his legs are fine, he is 21.

Feed Him!

Welp... looks like Elliott will have a chance to prove it this year.

Lots of defenders are going to be on the injury report with the description as "Blunt Force Trauma".

I look forward to seeing ZE induce more injury reports that include listings such as "Questionable: Can't find jock / Out: *** kicked / Doubtful: Blow'd the F up" the week after our opponent plays us. Worrying about ZE's carry count is something for 2019-2020, not 2016.

I would to but that's going by numbers and performance so far. If you go by how drafts actually work it would be Dak, Wentz, Bosa, and Zeke. The same two teams would trade up for QBs. SD would still want Bosa due to his recent play and Dallas would certainly still take Zeke. What may be different is that the original teams with the 1st and 2nd pick may no longer trade them but instead may take the QBs due to how they have played so far.
