1. Cleveland - Myles Garrett DE Texas A&M*
2. San Francisco - Mitch Trubisky QB North Carolina*

15. Indianapolis - Takkarist McKinley DE/OLB UCLA
16. Baltimore - Sidney Jones CB Washington*
17. Washington - Dalvin Cook RB Florida St.*

21. Detroit - Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama*

23. N.Y. Giants - Derek Barnett DE Tennessee*
24. Oakland - Quincy Wilson CB Florida*
25. Houston - Cam Robinson T Alabama*
26. Seattle - Ryan Ramczyk T Wisconsin*
27. Kansas City - Zay Jones WR East Carolina

28. Dallas - Teez Tabor CB Florida*
The Cowboys could see some turnover at cornerback, and teams that need to hold leads can't be short at the position. Tabor could clean some things up in his technique, but he's a playmaker with good ball skills, and he flashes great anticipation. Dallas needs corners and pass-rushers, and Tabor is a fit in this range.

29. Green Bay - Christian McCaffrey RB Stanford*
30. Pittsburgh - Hasaan Reddick OLB Temple
31. Atlanta - Charles Harris DE/OLB Missouri*
32. New England - Jabrill Peppers S Michigan*

If Tabor is the BPA available, then why not.
Although, Tabor was suspended for fighting a teammate & declining to take a drug test at Florida.

Jerry make not give a rats****, though.
Jerry wants his 'war-daddy's' on the D.
Maybe Tabor fits the bill.
If Tabor is projected to be a playmaker/gamechanger, then pull the trigger.

Comments:

- Would hate to see Cook in Washington, but I doubt they would pick him. They're running back by committee, they love splash players and they're likely losing D. Jackson.
- San Francisco is not taking a quarterback with the second pick. That would be utterly stupid, particularly Trubisky.
- Didn't Taco play for Michigan?
- NY Jets, Buffalo and Cleveland should be banned from picking a quarterback in the first. They just can't get it right.
- Fournette makes sense in a Jets' uniform.
- Just heard Mel say he doesn't think Fournette will be a Zeke Elliott. Interesting. Last year at this time, many Cowboys fans were arguing we should wait a year to pick a running back because Fournette and Cook were way better than Zeke.
- Would hate to see Barnett with the NY Giants, but it makes sense.
- The 49ers would regret passing on Jonathan Allen.
- Marlon Humphrey would hold out if the Lions take him.
- Zay Jones will have a great career anywhere other than K.C.
- The Patriots and Peppers just sound like a good fit. Belichick will get the most out of him.

His mocks get better as it gets closer to the draft.
Zay Jones in the 1st round? Love the kid, but, uh, no Mel.

Yes, because Mel is so spot on with this stuff. People would have discredited him if he said the opposite.

pass on Jalen ""I'm me, I'm going to be honest. What you see is what you get. Sometimes (it gets me in trouble). If you ain't being you ... if you ain't living for nothing, you'll die for anything. That's how I see it." Tabor

talented but too much cb talent in this draft to take someone that is so immature unless he is head and shoulders above the other cbs left, which he won't be at pick 28.

Tabor had 9 career interceptions at Florida, and is pure cover corner.
There are no playmakers in the Dallas secondary, outside of Jeff Heath (age and health issues has slowed down Scandrick).

Don't get cute, Tabor's ball skills would be an asset in the Dallas D.

Tabor is a moron who has off the field issues. Let's stroll down memory lane:

What good are his ball skills if he's an idiot and gets into trouble?

Pass.

I wouldn't take Jamal Adams ahead of Malik Hooker...jmo

Fair point, & I more or less agree.

However, unless the off-the-field issues pertain to failed drug testing and/or actual legal convictions, then the reward of drafting a secondary playmaker should trump the risk.

I know this is probably no where close to what will happen. Still, we need something to talk about and critique. :)

Without question.

Some might find his personality refreshing, I find it annoying. High maintenance WRs are bad enough, don't need it in a cornerback.

If Barnett slides down to #22 (Miami), I hope Steven calls Miami and works a trade up. Would absolutely hate to see another very good DL for NYG torment us for years to come.

At least Mel is consistant. He's tried to mock defensive backs to Dallas in the 1st round for as long as I can remember.

gotta love Mel, but hey I guess he's been right 3 times in the last 9 years (Jenkins, Mo, Jones). :)

Charlton listed as UCLA is my own mistake. Not the draft God that is Mel Kiper Jr.
