Where was Butler, Beasley and Williams? How the offense wasn't ready for 8 in the box is beyond me. Denver's secondary is good but the route combos vs man were a joke. As usual! No outside runs either.

Go ahead, tell us what Jason provides? What advantage does actually bring to the table? Is it discipline? Is it RKG? Is it half time adjustments? Is it game preparedness? What the does he actually do?

I worked in Denver some, the first time I went skiing in that area I got winded getting to the ski lift, if you haven't been there it hits you like a ton of bricks. I am almost 100% sure they got tired after the first 5 mins from not being used to the altitude. It really has a negative effect on your body and it happens fast. I guarantee you we won't get pounded on like this again this year. I don't think it is any coincidence that EVERYONE basically sucked today. Even Sean Lee...

You're exactly right.......hell like you said, even Lee was missing tackles.

Coaches got torched, in my opinion. The team looked completely unprepared.
Marinelli got destroyed. Lazy play-calling. Nothing team specific. Nothing play specific.
I am ready to move on from this dinosaur. Yelling at the DL in practice and giving nicknames can only go so far.
I get the talent on this D, but when you play straight vanilla and throw out passing D schemes on obvious running downs...

You're a shighty chess player and your opponent laughs at you.

More like out played. Some dumb play calls, or was it Dak for changing them, or both. Who really know.
But we got more out played than out coached.
That is just an agenda statement for some.

LOL agenda?

What game did you watch?

Our players weren't ready to play, it's that simple. That's on the head coach. And as I have said multiple times, I still can't figure out what in the world he was trying to accomplish with that gameplan he came out with today. Just an awful approach from the get go that had no chance of being successful.

What type of question is that if I watched the game. Every bitter minute of it.

For those who always want to blame Gareett and the coaches, it's an agenda...never the players at fault? That was sloppy all the way around. Yes the coaches are to be blamed as well, but it still comes down to execution. And the only executing was the Denver on both side of the ball doing it to us.

Totally sloppy game, but maybe a wake up call too.

I just call it like I see it.

Going out there in the shotgun from the start of the game and doing whatever it is that we did, whatever you want to call it, was absolutely awful. And considering that, there were no adjustments whatsoever.

It was a low energy, piss poor performance, I agree. But that begins and ends with the coaching staff.

We just played a terrible game...Thats it. Were we out coached....YES. To say our team was prepared....didnt look like it...I think we psyched ourselves out thinking about the altitude. I thought we should have played more hurry up offense like we did last week but we probably didnt because we were afraid of the altitude....

This has always been my fear with this team the coaching staff. They don't prepare and can't adjust during a game.

I blame the coaches more than the players. Didn't give us a chance today.

Same story as last year. We lost 3 games and this forum blamed all of them on coaching. We lost in the playoffs and it was the coaches fault.

We lose our first game of 2017 and it's also the coaches fault.

It's never the players.

He turned a mediocre 8-8 team to a quality team with deep playoff aspirations and a bright future.

Quit crying after every loss.

Cmon, give me a break. The defense got completely torched. That was the biggest problem today by far. Its not like this is some high powered offense. Solid, but nothing like some of the other top offenses in the league.

This is correct. Biggest issue was clearly the defense. Also, there were no running lanes for Zeke, so that made us one dimensional. Denver whipped us, but we have to move on now.

I wanna know why our heralded offensive line couldn't move their line off the ball.
For starters, we were outnumbered on the line.
We just couldnt make them pay for stacking the box.

That wont happen often.
They have best trio of corners

The DL has mediocre talent. Marinelli is an excellent defensive coach (not a genius defensive coach like Wade however) but even the best coaches need talent. There is not enough talent on the DLine. Maliek Collins being touted as Aaron Donald-lite is delusional. Collins is a decent talent (good pass rusher, average or worse run stopper) but he's not a game changer. Cowboys need a game changer on DL to take next step.

A good DL makes the LBs and Secondary better, just fact. A great DL forces turnovers and can win games if offense not pulling weight.

It's never the players.

Nobody cared about the Eagles loss last year.

The first Giants loss we had Dez run 23 go routes on 29 pass play snaps. It wasn't working and they kept with that gameplan instead of adjusting. The playoff loss we decided to ignore EE at critical points, Garrett botched the clock management towards the end of the game and our defense looked completely confused.

Garrett/Linehan have a propensity for stubbornly sticking to offensive gameplans and having extremely questionable playcalling...particularly in our losses.

Where I blame the players is that we didn't tackle well today and Dez and Dak were not on the same page. But we stood no chance with the offensive playcalling today.

I don't really ask for much...all I ask for is us to get about 20 carries from EE a game which is only 5 carries per quarter. We are likely to run 60-65 plays a game and with just a measly 20 carries a game...we are still only running the ball about 40% of the time.

EE had 4 carries in the first half. And we were within a TD for most of the first half.

But, the geniuses running the show just abandoned the run for no good reason. The first hint that we might not be able to run the ball...we'll abandon it every time. We completely abandoned our bootleg game and then when we needed quick scores we started calling dink-n-dunk plays. That's just bad coaching any way you slice it.

Lawrence was very good today and I thought Crawford was pretty good here and there. But it appears the DT's and the RDE were terrible against the run and Lee missed quite a few tackles today. Heath was terrible, Carroll struggled, I thought Lewis held his own even if you don't count the INT. Brown was okay. Jaylon didn't do much of anything.
