Today's game had the same feel as last year. I have a feeling every QB not named Romo is told the same thing by this staff. Look at Dez, if he's double covered, look for Witt or Bease underneath.

Defenses knows this and all they have to do is double cover Dez and let us have the short throws. This is why every QB except Romo look like bus drivers.

If our run game is not clicking, this is how it's going to be with this offense. Dink and dunk, then FG if we are lucky. Don't expect big plays until JG grows some balls.
It is an extremely easy offense to defend. Didn't Baltimore call this out in 2008? They know exactly what the next play is going to be and how to defend it. Here we are in 2016 complaining about the same guy.

I hope you're just joking.

Who was it around here that would mail plays to Valley Ranch with it addressed to either the Head Coach or to Jerry...

Instead of using the same gameplan week after week, make a plan for each individual team we face to exploit their weaknesses. The same gameplan can not be used each game expecting different results.

Hell, they can't even make halftime adjustments. It's asking a bit much for them to make different game plans, isn't it?

I think this would be a good time for us the Fans to point out some of his flaws. Hopefully somebody on the staff reads this post. I'll start off with a few of my own.

1. Most of the NFL runs some variable of a rub route, its time we start trying. Yes
2. Dez needs to be in motion more, and find ways of getting him the ball in space. yes
3. when a team stacks the box and is showing a double a gap blitz, lets stop trying to run right up the middle. This is where having Romo makes a big difference.
4. Any 3rd and long, lets delete the quick pass to Witten, that will NEVER work. Sub Elliott or Dunbar here for this pass. We need more RB screens.
5. Incorporate the halfback pass or flea flicker to the playbook, those used to be staples in the past. I dont think this will make a big impact, but occasionally throwing one in couldnt hurt.

Here are a couple for the Defense

1. When we are playing immobile QB's, lets try some blitzes up the middle, sending OScan off the corner and not from the blindside is almost useless.
2. Wilbur is not a pass rusher off the edge, get somebody else in there to try.

Okay I'll do this for real. If I could say anything to Garret here's what I would say:
1. What's up with Dez, can we get him to run different routes, put him in motion, run a quick slant. Dez is a player that thrives after he gets a couple touches. At the start of the game throw a safe WR screen to him to loosen him and Dak up. Can you and the other offensive coaches come up with better ways to use Dez than the couple routes he runs. Make it a priority on the opening offensive drive to get Dez the ball. Nothing bad happens when dez gets the ball. But bad things happen when he doesn't get the ball early and often. he disappears.
2. Twill runs sprints until he throws up on Monday. If he makes another situational error of that magnitude in a game than he is the back up to Brice.
3. Play action, Play action and play action. You see 8 or 9, and sometimes 10 in the box then play action pass.
4. When your RB is running at 5 yards a clip and is controlling the game. Keep him in. Everyone knows he wasn't the #4 pick but during the game if something is working please stick to it. Morris was getting to the second level on most of his runs and he was pulled and replaced with EE. So if they were backing up when Morris was in and our oline was taking over then keep doing that.
5. As CowboyChris stated in his, delete the Witten screen pass. In Witten's prime that wasn't a good play.
6. Loosen up that blitzing with screen passes to the RB. And not on exclusively 3rd down, run a screen to a RB or WR bubble, on first or second down.
7. Stop running on 2nd down after a incomplete pass on first down. Normally the defense knows you're doing it and it's a negative play. So instead of 3rd and 10 we have 3rd and 12 or 14.
8. Loosen up the blitzing by using you mobile QB to have a couple QB draws in the game.
9. During the game when something is not working please stop doing it. After the 2nd Witten screen there was no business running that play again. But we ran it 5 or 6 times and in crucial situations. It wasn't working. If it's not working then don't use it.

This is also something I would add to the list as well. It seems like we don't gameplan for anyone and have one plan and use it regardless of the results. Pretty much echoing what dexternjack said. Even when we have positive results from something that was not our gameplan we stop doing it. That is so frustrating.

I feel like Garret would rather lose with his gameplan than win with making adjustments. He's like the Jerry Jones of Coaching. Jerry is willing to lose for 20+ years doing it his way than win by getting some outside help. Garrett is little Jerry, in fact that's what I'm going to start calling him from now on. Little Jerry would rather lose the game with his gameplan and his archaic offensive system then win with adjusting the offense to the current year and current NFL. Both men stubborn as all get out and are unwilling to change. They'd rather lose doing it their way than win trying it a different way.

What's Little Jerry scared of? His job is safe. Be creative, mix it up. do things different with the ball. Little Jerry, listen to me please, You're Not Getting Fired!!! you don't have to worry about Big Jerry firing you because you are exactly what Big Jerry wants in a coach. You're a spineless man that reminds him of the glory days. You're not going anywhere. Trust me, you won't get any of the credit if we win a super bowl. None, it'll be a miracle of talent and circumstance that our players overcome the coaching and win the super bowl. You're a safe person in Big Jerry's eyes. He knows no one will credit you. So let it fly man, let loose. Try running a motion route with Bryant. If it doesn't work, we'll lose and like today Big Jerry will just smile and count his billions. He doesn't care, he hasn't for years. Big Jerry has watched Romo break his back for the team and still allowed you to coach. No human being with an ounce of empathy would allow that to happen.

So C'mon Little Jerry, make a change, don't waste Dak's career like you're wasting Romo's Witten's, Bryant's Lee's. Or just do it for us, because watching new plays fail is a tad bit better than watching old plays fail.

Guys, remember Tom Landry didn't start out too well. Therefore, Garrett will automatically become as good as Tom Landry.

Our blitz package is the worst I have ever seen. By far.

Get rid of the idea of Wilber as a pass rusher. Move the dude from the Vikings up from the PS.

We only tried running to the edge about 5 times the entire game....why do you pound it inside to the strength of their defense?

Slant? Ever? It's something Dak throws really well. We never even tried it.

Skinny post? Ever?

Yes, the slant which Michael Irvin made his career with. And Garrett is supposed to be a disciple of the Zampese/Norv offense? Guess he was absent the day the demonstrated the slant pass. They gotta get this guy outta here. He's. Awful.
