Checkout these prices at the stadium. A dry aged beef sandwich $14. I can only imagine what they're charging for one that's freshly made. lol They're probably charging $12 for a $5 footlong. Throw in a $9 draft beer, a $5 order of steel cut fries and whatever they screw you for on a candy bar and that would just about be the same price you would pay for some fine french cuisine at a Beverly Hills restaurant. At least you don't have to tip at the stadium but it looks like you'll still need your platinum card. This would make for a good Mastercard commercial. Four Cowboys tickets $180, parking at the stadium $40, green chile Kobe burger $13, True north nut snacks $5, Miss Vickie's jalapeno chips $3, a draft beer $9 and the look on your face after the Cowboys get blown out....PRICELESS!

With the economy the way it is attending a Cowboys game is going to be pretty pricy for a family of four especially if they have a couple of chow hounds like these two. If so I would recommend heading over to a hometown buffet prior to the game and let them stuff themselves for under $9 each and have the wife throw some rolls, butter and pastries in her bag in case their tummies start growling during the game. You sure don't want them getting cranky. :tantrum:

Dad are you going to eat the rest of those Mcnuggets?

News so old that it was originally written in Sanskrit.

I'm new to this site and just saw those prices on another board. I hear those prices are in the club section. They suppose to be cheaper upstairs. By the time you get up there you'll probably be so hungry you'll have to place a double order and end up paying even more.

Nice gimmick! some idiot will buy Kobe beef with bbq suace...

Just eat before you go to the game. It's what I do.

I may buy a drink so I can get a souvenir cup, but that's about it.

I think they will be the same throughout the stadium.
I tried the BBQ beef on season ticket holder open house, they had half prices food and drinks [but not the beer]. It was ok, nothing great but not bad. Paid $4.25, but it is not worth full price at $8.50.

My friend tried the hot dog, and she said it was pretty good for the price. Better than she thought it would be.

I hate this captive pricing crap. This kind of thing is a big middle finger to those in attendance. And that middle finger is going right in your...

You can make money selling at a reasonable price - and give your fans an experience that they will rave about. Instead, you will need to go on Preparation-H giveaway night to sit comfortably after visiting the snack bar...

Find me a "reasonably priced" vendor at any NFL, MLB, or NBA stadium outside of some promo night. I'll be here for a few years so you can be thorough.

Paid about $12 tonight at Minute Maid for some peanuts and a beer.

Kickin back in front of my 60 inch HD TV, drinking Heinekens at $1.50 each, and eatin some home cookin . :) Between the ticket, drink and food, i might spend 40-50 bucks every game day. On the high end i'll spend a grand for the year watching at home. I'd spend that for one trip to the new digs. You can keep it jerry.

Point being, stadium food is expensive.

This is not news.

i wish i knew where you were gonna get 4 tickets for $ 180 and the $ 40
parking isnt "at" the stadium.

we tailgate so i usually dont eat at the stadium.

but hey even at the minor league ballparks around here the food prices are
higher than what you would pay at a regular place.

Here's what I found for the parking and the tickets.

Dude it was a joke. Take a chill pill! lol You won't find a bigger diehard Cowboys fan than me. No one is making fun of the stadium.

All the selections on that menue are made from aged japanese beef. Thus the prices. I would expect that is a speciality vendor, and "regular burgers and hotdogs would be less expencive elsewhere.

Do the suites have a higher option? Truffles, duck, sushi...?

And how much smuggling of bootleg m&ms and peppermint schnappes is there?

I'm the same way as some of the others here are. I eat before going to the movies and what we do is get a humongous drink that only a friggin whale could drink alone (And gets free refills too) and same for the popcorn and share it.

If I was to go to the new stadium I'd eat heavily and go to the game and *maybe* buy a beer, if that. I'd be too interested in the game to be shoving food in my face, though I tend to do that while watching the games on Sunday/Monday :O

Now I've heard of Kobe beef.....but a Kobe hot dog??? How do you get that? Do they keep a pig in a pen and force feed him sake? Or maybe since it's Texas, force feed him Lone Star?
Or am I completely missing the point that concessions are shared with a basketball player?

BTW,welcome KJJ. Keep feeding 'em....The 'Boys will need O-Linemen down the road.
