The NFL does one big test of every team, and the team knows when it's coming. They do random tests, but to end up on the random list you have to get caught during the team tests or end up on someones **** list.

So, in reality, it's not very difficult at all to get by the tests. If you aren't on the random testing list you can cycle roids and not test positive for them when you know a test is coming two months in advance.

To get caught in the team testing you have to be pretty stupid or just unlucky, so at least there's one log for the fire of the "Ware>Merriman" camp - if Ware is on roids, at least he's not as dumb as Merriman.



Does anyone here have proof that Ware isn't on steroids? Unless you go and personally conduct a random test on him, you have no idea whether he is or isn't, thus making the "WARE IS NOW OFFICIALLY BETTER THAN MERRIMAN" argument moot.

It's common sense for anyone who has ever played sports in their life. Human beings aren't supposed to be able to do what NFL players do - just because Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and Barry Bonds have never officially tested positive means they never used roids?

Burden of proof is on the accuser. We know merriman cheats, what we don't know is if anyone else who hasn't been caught cheats, and Merriman deserves all the flack he gets.

I mean, some are assuming that he has been using for a long time. This is something we don't know. If he is a long time user, why wasn't he caught before?

This argument is so weak. How do you prove a negative?? The only thing I know is that Ware hasn't been tested positive. Merriman has. To turn this into an indictment on Ware is just you trying to save face.

You lost me there. Merriman was the leagues ROY last year and the media fellates him on a weekly basis. It is a complete and horrible embarrasment for the NFL that Merriman has tested positive.

If he got caught during the team test it would have been before the season. If it was the random test, he certainly wasn't on anyone's ****list - again, this is a huge black eye for the league. They had every reason in the world to not test him if there was actually 'control' over random testing.
