Point is a huge factor in picking Ware over Merriman was character issues. And production or no, this is a big horkin red flag as to why Parcells went the direction he did.

Is a couple more gimme sacks a year against the Raiders worth the possiblity of missing half a season if he gets nailed again?

But there has been next to nothing that I have read that suggests more than word of mouth.

Case in point, if I read a Terrell Owens article within a day of the "incident", I am sure it would have been reported a "suicide attempt" by one outlet or another.

And honestly, if it was for steroids, that is besides the point I was attempting to make.

Fact is, some people believe his circumstance somehow makes Ware's lack of production acceptable. Sorry, but I want more.

This whole thread is a reaction to defend DeMarcus and denounce Merriman, otherwise there is no reason why it is so huge and keeps on going.

So what? Defend a Cowboys player who has done nothing wrong and denounce a rival who has gotten caught cheating? What's the problem with that? If we were defending the player who got busted, that's when there would be something to protest.

Is the fact that Mr. Superman got busted for breaking the rules and is now worse than useless to his team for the next month a trivial matter?

I see your point, but overall, this shouldn't be the primary topic of conversation were we not less than four hours away from a season-defining game.
