I think the Vikings win it by a slim margin.

Short of the Skins shutting down the running game for Minnesota - they are slight underdogs here.

And have a great holiday.

Vikes will stomp you. They're a good team, and they seem to be gaining momentum.

If Jackson is really off, like he can be, you might have a chance.

Vikings win . Their defense is too good and they'll be able to run on the Skins . It should be a close game though .

I think your strengths on offense play into the Vikings strengths on defense. On the other hand, the Vikings strengths on offense should tear into your defense. Even without Taylor, your secondary is still your strength and losing McIntosh hurts more than outsiders know. Vikings 28-17

This is a hard game to predict. For some reason I believe that you guys will still be alive when we head to Fed-Ex. I think we'll be fighting for home field and you'll be fighting for the playoffs. Minnesota looked very vunerable Monday night.

The other voice in my head is telling me that playing @ Minnesota and having to face their tough run D and running game will be too much for you to handle.

My gut says the Skins win a game that's in the neighborhood of 17-14. It's AD v. swing passes to Portis and using Cooley against that vulnerable Viking Tampa2. If you guys continue to tackle well and don't give up a score to the Viking defense, I think you can beat them on the road. You don't have any particular issues in domes, do you?

On a related note, I have a friend who's a huge Vikes fan come up to me this week and ask me unsolicited if I thought the Skins fans posters over on Extremeskins were '********.' I told him 'yes.' Apparently he didn't agree with them that Todd Collins>>>>>>Tarvaris Jackson, Clinton Portis is comparable to AD, and Fred Smoot will probably be bringing the pain.

It will be interesting to see the Vikings D Line against your patchwork O-line, but I think the Commanders O is superior to Minnesota's, at least you can throw the ball when givin time, but I think Homefield gives Minny a very small advantage in a pick um game.

Your last two wins are against teams that are on the slippery slope to crappyness and seem to be falling apart. The Giants game in particular was an odd one and the conditions screwed up any chance at a normal game... and in turn that screwed up any chance we had of determining where the Commanders are as a team.

The Vikes on the other hand, are on somewhat of a roll and have a very stout defense. I don't see you guys doing much offensively against them. You didn't do much in your last two wins offensively either.

The Vikes offense can be crappy if Jackson is off... but that running game of their's can dominate. The Commanders have a terribly mediocre DL and I think that will really hurt them in this game.

I see the Vikes by about two TD's, if I had to make a prediction. I usually don't like to do that.

I agree with you about our O..I see todd collins picking them apart in the short passing game..they have no one to challenge moss on that carpet.moss is the fastest player on the field, and the vikes will have problems slowing him down..on the flip side the vikes main wr is hurt and may not play and they dont scare anybody..

There's something comforting about knowing fans of other teams also get to experience the ES reality distortion effect. It's funny, though, that my friend got to the site on his own and came back with the same conclusion.

I suggested he tell them that 'Sean Taylor's now in the only place were he's getting toasted more often than he did in the Commanders secondary,' but he knew after just going to ES once that that would be putting chum in shark-infested water. It probably would have crashed the server.

Moss isn't going to get any play deep on that tampa2. It's going to be Cooley who's going to have a big day.

I think the Skins win in a close one.

Reason? You finally have at least a decent QB. :laugh2:

If Campbell were starting, I call Vikes by two scores.

I think the Skins have a very real chance, but they need the Giants and Saints to also lose if they want to really increase their hopes of making it. This is a big game and they are on a mini roll, but it is critical that they stop Peterson or it will be a very bad day.

Vikings win by a touchdown. Loss of McIntosh will be felt by Skins. On the brightside, the Skins may get an easy game next weekend, if my Cowboys wrap up home field this weekend.
