Call me a hater but I would have been too tempted to say "Well, as long as you've living a good life Tony."

How could he be in Orlando at the Blue Martini when just last night...in fact he just left this morning (him and Jess) from my house in TX?????
How could they have been at your house in TX when she was in concert performing with Rascal Flatts in New Orleans last night?

How could he have been in Orlando if Jessica was in New Orleans last night? They're inseparable.

Thats a great story. Thanks for sharing it with us. You may be right about him being there because of Jessica. She performs at the Strawberry festival tomorrow.

Did you ask any football related questions? Regarding TO perhaps?

I wanted to trust me, but it just did not seem like the right place or time. I think that is why he did not seem bothered by me.

This is a nice story, Romo seems like a great guy..

I have a question...

Since Werder was proven right, how do you feel about being an *** that day?

No...my issue is not the "story." My issue is not even "werder."

My issue is how the media (in all aspects) has resorted to sensationalistic rumor patrol instead of verifying your facts, using names, and being trustworthy.

This is not watergate for crying out loud, you can name sources...sports journalism has turned in to TMZ gossip watch. He is just trying to get ahead of stories in anyway possible for ratings. The truth does not seem to matter anymore. I have no problem with Werder. I have a HUGE problem with what journalism has become.

That played a part in my going to it about a year ago. Prior to that it was Goose & Club Soda for me but it was time to let the carbonation go.

How was he an *** when Ed Werder is definitley an idiot hack who had an agenda against TO because of the "next question" stuff? We still don't know if it was all true or not, so Werder hasn't been proven right or wrong. All we know is the organization decided that it was too much of a distraction, whether true or not. Multiple players have said that TO is a good teammate. Just because TO is no longer on the team does not mean that Werder is not an unprofessional rumor-spreading hack with an agenda against TO and a desire to shed a negative light on all things Dallas. Didn't you see him grinning from ear to ear when TO got cut? That was personal joy that had nothing to do with journalistic integrity.

Personal Agenda + Player Hatred = Hack Journalism.

I have to steal that quote...that's great!

That would have been so awkward for all involved and might have netted you a trip back to regularity. You played it perfectly.

Last night, I was fortunate enough to meet Tony Romo here in Orlando.

He and I ran in to each other at the VIP Section in our version of "upscale club" called the Blue Martini (I am not sure why he is here, maybe Jessica is performing at the local Strawberry festival down the road...they tend to grab a series of country singers throughout the week)...

Anyhow, let me say this:

Above I mentioned "fortunate," and I mean that. I was sending a messagee through one of his friends saying to please tell him I appreciate his effort with our club. Immediately Tony stood up, and he and his friend waved me in to the VIP area (where God knows I don't belong) past all security present...security was not exactly pleased...

I introduced myself saying "My name is Chris, and I was the guy on that silly youtube clip yelling at Werder.." He immediately began laughing, and said, "THAT was YOU?!?...THAT WAS AWESOME...YOU ARE A TRUE FAN!!! THANK YOU BROTHER!!!" I was shocked!

I asked him if I could buy him a shot, and before I could even get that out of my mouth he asked if we wanted a picture, and if I wanted a drink. Of course I wasn't gonna pass that up, and HE poured me a drink not even asking the VIP waitress if she would do so for me! THIS GUY IS WORTH 67 MILLION AND TREATED ME LIKE I WAS ONE OF HIS CREW...

We spoke for 5 minutes, and then I said, "I appreciate it again, pleasure meeting you, and I don't want to bother you anymore." He replied, "No bother, pleasure meeting you Chris, are you sure you have to leave, and we will have an awesome team this year...you watch!"

I then saw him as he left 2 hours later, he came over and said "nice meeting you again Chris, take care" and exited.

I will tell you this...I have NEVER met a friendlier, classier, and nicer professional athlete in my life. I have coached many athletes in the high school and college levels who have played professionally, but was never as impressed with a complete stranger as I was with Tony.

He is genuine, and had absolutely NO reason to include me in anything, but did. Even though I came across as a bit "crazy" in some of those videos, he appreciated our passion, and our support....Tony it is I who appreciate YOU...

We are fortunate (even despite many negative things we write) to have this man running our team...

Thanks for reading,

Chris :star:

Good read, and congrats on meeting up with Romo.
