As I mentioned before:

a) I am sort of loopy, and

b) I am from California (we seem to be strange but not very stressed)...

Nobody ever "gets" me upset anymore (exception Stewart and Read), but I appreciate the kind words...I am responsible for my actions period, but really have never cared if I was PC in their actions. :D

You don't have to explain yourself to the people who don't agree with you going up to Werder. Your style is different than theirs as you are more extroverted than most who remain behind the computer and are introverted.

I think it is rude that people would come out and make an aggressive statement calling someone "psycho" so who are they to criticize when they have no manner or ability to spin their feelings towards you any differently.

I for one have enjoyed the videos and liked your OP on this thread. Thanks for your efforts and at times being "against the grain". You have nothing but good intentions for tis team and this blogging community.

Going to try...

I am trying to send myself an e-mail from my stupid freeki' instinct phone and then post one, but to put it midly I am not the sharpest sometimes when it comes to this computer stuff...hell, I am happy I can use the "quote" option on this site sometimes.

Basically it is a dark photo, in a clubs vip section with me and him. He is wearing some hat that has a GU on it?

I'll try again...ugh:banghead:

Good stuff Chris. Romo seems like a really good guy. The word genuine seems very appropriate.

Nice!
He does seem like a very down to earth guy...always has. I've always found it odd that he's so "normal" but feels the need to chase celeb chicks. I mean, it's obviously fine with me (and why would he care anyway what I thought) it's just that it always seemed counter to how he otherwise was.

That is such a cool story. Man, it's not often you see the better part of sports, or even life, like that. Really great story Chris.

Thank you for sharing that with us.

Nice man! I wish I would run into a Cowboy player some time. I did see Underwood at a flea market one time..........does that count?

Last night, I was fortunate enough to meet Tony Romo here in Orlando.

He and I ran in to each other at the VIP Section in our version of "upscale club" called the Blue Martini (I am not sure why he is here, maybe Jessica is performing at the local Strawberry festival down the road...they tend to grab a series of country singers throughout the week)...

Anyhow, let me say this:

Above I mentioned "fortunate," and I mean that. I was sending a messagee through one of his friends saying to please tell him I appreciate his effort with our club. Immediately Tony stood up, and he and his friend waved me in to the VIP area (where God knows I don't belong) past all security present...security was not exactly pleased...

I introduced myself saying "My name is Chris, and I was the guy on that silly youtube clip yelling at Werder.." He immediately began laughing, and said, "THAT was YOU?!?...THAT WAS AWESOME...YOU ARE A TRUE FAN!!! THANK YOU BROTHER!!!" I was shocked!

I asked him if I could buy him a shot, and before I could even get that out of my mouth he asked if we wanted a picture, and if I wanted a drink. Of course I wasn't gonna pass that up, and HE poured me a drink not even asking the VIP waitress if she would do so for me! THIS GUY IS WORTH 67 MILLION AND TREATED ME LIKE I WAS ONE OF HIS CREW...

We spoke for 5 minutes, and then I said, "I appreciate it again, pleasure meeting you, and I don't want to bother you anymore." He replied, "No bother, pleasure meeting you Chris, are you sure you have to leave, and we will have an awesome team this year...you watch!"

I then saw him as he left 2 hours later, he came over and said "nice meeting you again Chris, take care" and exited.

I will tell you this...I have NEVER met a friendlier, classier, and nicer professional athlete in my life. I have coached many athletes in the high school and college levels who have played professionally, but was never as impressed with a complete stranger as I was with Tony.

He is genuine, and had absolutely NO reason to include me in anything, but did. Even though I came across as a bit "crazy" in some of those videos, he appreciated our passion, and our support....Tony it is I who appreciate YOU...

We are fortunate (even despite many negative things we write) to have this man running our team...

Thanks for reading,

Chris :star:

Which is why I laugh at all the haters who question his "ethic and commitment" to the team, and how he doesnt care about winning when he goes on his "there is more to life than football."

Guess what? There IS more to life than football. The guy is a great human being. I wish we had a team of 54 Tony Romo's.

I am very jealous. I love our quarterback.

You live in Plant City? Interesting, I grew up in Lithia, not to far away.

Great story btw!

i dont care if he's a genuine guy. I want him to buck his ideas and stop throwing the ball up for grabs, stop fumbling when he's on the run and take control of this Offence.

I want you to learn how to spell.
