Ahh...metallica just killed me when they put out that load album. I had it two days and sold it.

Its done to Motorhead - Ace of Spades. I know what a fan you are.
BrAinPaiNt;2021279 said:Yes I have posted that before as well. Love it....I really like Motorhead and that song just rocks.
Mavs Man;2021172 said:I stuck with them through Load and Reload, but St. Anger was the last straw. After No Leaf Clover and Minus Human on the S&M album, I thought they would return to a heavier style. Wrong. And to top it off, it sounded like someone recorded it in their basement.
I thought S&M was awesome, by the way, but 90% of the songs were "old-school" Metallica.
They have a new album coming out sometime this year. I might give it a listen, but I'm not holding my breath for a return to Metallica's roots.
At least Iced Earth's best singer returned to the band (Matt Barlow) or I would have no current metal bands to follow.

Looking forward to see them live once again with the Egiyptian Tour here in Italy in June...it will be my 16th time since 1986!!!
Did anyone see the preview USA show or will go to the next in May or June?
BrAinPaiNt;2023477 said:I love old metallica and old maiden.
They each have their talents (or in metallica...had) in their specific genres and each good at what they do.
Nothing wrong with liking both.
YoMick;2023494 said:I completely agree.
You CAN argue that one is better(was better)... but why bother.. BOTH put out some MEGA songs in their history.
I will say... based on what someone posted about their mental history and therapy.... the cover of Bob Segar's "Turn the Page" would have been SOOOOO MUCH BETTER pre-therapy days... it just lacked the OLD Metallica bite!
Oh don't get me started on them. The first time I ever saw them they opened for Metallica. After that, my life hasn't been the same.Dave the Sicilian;2023459 said:Iron Maiden
