To me, I'd rather sign Bland, Pickens, Smith than Parsons if that's the choice.

Micah is good, but he's a one trick pony who is vulnerable against the run.

We do have a whole lot of other pass rushers. Thing is, I want Micah at LB sometimes. But it didn't he'd do it at this point, because it's less money.

Jerry may be thinking the same thing. Maybe that's why he isn't signed.

Parsons represents the NFL? Really? Great player but he isn’t a Mahomes or Allen. I bet Lamb sells more jerseys.

To be clear again I blame the Jones for everything. They could have locked up Parsons last year. They waited and now he will cost $5-10 more per year. I am not 100pct sure they can even sign him at this point. If Jerry wanted a partner he could have one but those narcissistic clowns won’t do that. If the Lakers sold for $10B the Cowboys are worth $20B at least. Jerry bought the team for $140. He could carve off 10 pct and make 15X. He won’t though because there is zero chance he shares the spot light. Money is not the issue. The issue is whether or not Parsons is worth $45-50MM per. Personally I think this team is a long way off and I would rather lock up Smith and have a couple high picks.

As a player with a podcast he represents what the modern pro athlete can now do. On other teams it would not be an issue. I believe Jerry would rather not share the spotlight with one of his players. He doesn’t have the impact of a Mahomes or an Allen. Parsons is a significant personality among NFL players. He is making the most of his opportunities.

Micah Parsons is going to play somewhere if he chooses. If the Cowboys are unwilling to pay him what he thinks he’s worth his choices are simple. Play out his contract and tags and become a free agent or choose to quit playing football. Jerry has to decide what’s best for the Cowboys. And Jerry’s not good at it.

I would much rather sign the other players and get draft picks .Sooner or later we're going to have to use a high draft pick on a quarterback Micah would give us this option.
He is no more a 40 million player in the clutch then Dak is a 60 million player with the game on the line.
Both compile stats in The perfect Storm but to make the same mistake again on a guy who makes no impact in the playoffs is flat out stupid.

It's a position that we are well stockpiled with talent at trade this guy and get the pics to build the team properly

I like to discuss why the Cowboys gave this guy a new deal while parsons deal is still waiting, and he hasn't proven he can bounce back from his injuries and even have a good year worth this kind of money....

Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has signed a new 4-year contract extension with the team, a Cowboys front office source confirms.
The 26-year-old gets a $12 million signing bonus, $30 million guaranteed, and $52 million in new money, according to a report.

Fergie is 11 mil. Parsons is 41 mil.

Almost as if Jerry is the ring leader of drama for nfl sports media assets because he's the media mogul who sold them(networks)on paying big dollars to NFL owners...and he would give all the sports shows something to talk about year round....

The oil salesman turned sports franchise owner turned real estate mogul turned media mogul has his team generating the most drama....in a time of over saturation of sports talk shows.

Almost as if the spearheading salesman that sold the media guys on this idea....is being forced to pull his weight by creating drama for the TV shows.

Jerry said to the TV networks "give us(the nfl) a bunch of money and we will provide drama for year round TV. You make money off commercials, we make money from you giving us deals. And, I....Jerry Jones, will ensure you I will give you something to talk about. I'll pull my weight on this deal"

I don't know how it went down. Maybe Jerry was given stock in media companies at the requirement he drum up drama to stir ratings and commercial fees.
