There are plenty of well-educated people out there who, when speaking casually, use sentences that aren't perfect English. Do you know why? Because they have a life and have much bigger and better things to worry about.

What about Stephen Hawking? He can't speak at all without the help of a computer and he has more knowledge in his excrement than this entire board collectively does.

When someone gets a free ride to a quality university (and yes, Miami is just that) and comes out unable to speak English in any coherent way it means he's too lazy to learn and couldn't care less. When you consider the football players all are assigned tutors to get them through their courses in basket weaving and other fluff courses and they still blow off class, yeah I find that disgusting.

The fact that God gave them great athletic gifts that our society deems worthy of ridiculous salaries doesn't tell me one thing about their characters. You seem to be inferring that a poorly paid teacher should look up to these punks because they make millions. Sorry I can't agree. The track record of the NFL cast from the U speaks for itself. There are a disproportionate # of players from the U that are just punks and speaking like morons is just one small example of that.

I'd happily match GPA, SAT scores or IQ scores with any of those "dumb" guys...

Never having seen 50 Cent give an interview, I have no idea if he's intelligent or not... I know I have heard rappers who are clearly VERY intelligent, and it shows when they speak...

And I can assure you that I would never, ever be interested in a woman who'd have any interest at all in some rapper...

These players do what they love for a living and make millions doing it. If you can do what you love and make a good living doing it, that's how you measure success in your career, Silverbear.
