I agree. I did not see $47mm per year ...especially because 3 of our lineman were out AND HE KNOWS THESE GUYS...so he should have easily been able to get sacks if he was that guy. Plus...we did to him what teams did to use when playing against our D...run at him or away from him ...and let him get frustrated.

They did not get any pressure to speak of even with Micah being chipped and doubled. The Cowboys offense did not struggle due to Micah is the key here. You have to be a difference maker at 47 mil per year!
 
I heard Micah pulled 3 orphans from a burning building and helped 2 old ladies cross the street before the game, too. I wish the media and the "analytics guys" would just admit that he and his teammates got smoked on national TV. GBs offense bailed them out but the defense.....they looked awful.

….and the argument for getting rid of Micah was to supposedly fix the run game.

We gave up 164 yards and 2 TDs in the run game yesterday.

He isnt making anywhere close to that on the CAP. Which is what matters.

So my implication with regard to that impact of individual on team performance is that his performance in this game did not carry over quite as much to his new team then, correct?

I hear you, but I think his impact has carried over to Green Bay....Despite last nights disaster for that unit their defense still ranks top 10 in both points allowed and yards. The aggregate still looks really good for the GB defense, they just ran into a veteran QB that was locked in and on top of his game last night.

I mean Philly had the best defense in football last year averaging just 278 yards per game, but still gave up 33 to Tampa, and 36 points to Washington. Even really good defenses are going to get gashed on occasion.

Every single play was AWAY from him.

The entire SCHEME was built to stay away from Micah.

Do you guys watch the games? Or do you just look at stats?

That basically means all week in every meeting this offensive staff planned an entire strategy to stay away from the guy. LOL.

He is also not counting 47 million against the cap. Not even close. Go look at his cap hits before continuing to spew this nonsense. His contract for lack of a better term is actually very team friendly. When his cap hits get up to those numbers, he is cuttable with limited damage to the cap. Its how smart FO's operate in a cap era. Problem is our FO cant do math unless it is overpaying an injured player.
 
He made one tackle that was worth anything. It was a big one, but that’s it one tackle. Chris Collinsworth LMAO Green Bay definitely got the better of that trade. Yes, we can stop the run and Green Bay can’t stop us.

So you can scheme around Micah and score 40 on a defense that has been the top in the league so far? Is that what you are telling me?

Disagree completely, just watch Baldy's video. Green Bay and Parsons in particular had not just pressure, but quick pressures...plus they did it blitzing just 14% of the time. a 14% blitz rate makes Matt Eberflus look like Rob Ryan. I don't think we are giving nearly enough credit to our offensive skill players and our play callers here. They were able to get the football out at an unbelievably quick rate that neutralized GB.

So you went through every term possible that you could to describe his contract and the only thing that fit was "team friendly".

I don't think Micah ended with very many pressures. Baldy just cherry picked out a couple plays he won on.

I just thought GB would have or should have feasted more with regards to GB dline starters vs. Dallas oline backups in their individual one on one matchupss.Dallas backups more than held their own in pass pro and run blocking.

But fair enough, I'll ultimately chalk it up to proper gameplanning and execution.

They Cowboys certainly didn't struggle due to Micah in this one, I agree, but the point is what the Cowboys did offensively is not going to be replicated over a 17 game schedule. This was an incredible effort by Parsons erased simply because it was an even more incredible effort by Dak. Parsons absolutely wrecked our OL on film.
