Guessing he talked to a PR guy for that answer. Hard time thinking it came from him because he and his people ghosted them. Had he picked up the phone and said that to the show runners, who could argue?

Was about to say the same thing. He just lost his QB and apparently was on Twitter asking Madden to change his rating. Lol. Hopefully this episode gets that Hollywood taste out of his mouth.

Oh give me a break with the boy scout routine you talking about a business that's built on breaking their word. The man's number one job is playing football these are the same folks that will massacre his name if he isn't playing like Micah for just one game. LOL
Ill never give you a break!!

He probably did. That being said. Letting the PR guys help you interact with the media is the wise thing to do. He needs to do it more often.

Which I think he will as he matures.

Ya think he wanted to avoid answering questions about certain teammates and coaches? I sure do.

I think he wanted to avoid question about getting knocked on his *** and the ensuing Twitter nonsense.

People are being harsh on Micah here. Micah had an amazing game and he feels it wouldnt be right to go on tv and let people blow smoke up his butt about his playing great and then ask negative questions about a variety of others such as Dak, Zeke, Jones, Amari, and McCarthy. Micah thought THAT would be a worse look than backing out of an interview looks. Give him the benefit of the doubt,

They should ask Shannon what day time sports talk show he appeared on in the middle of an NFL season when he was in his prime.

I think we have to remember these are still 22 and 23 year old kids out there. They went right from high school to college to the NFL. Always a bit of growing up to do, as much FOX’s fault for expecting more out of him as it is Micah’s.

This wasn’t about sharing football knowledge or giving his opinion on the sports topics of the week, this was probably planned to be his outlet to celebrate every Tuesday after the Cowboys tear through their schedule.

Agreed but someone on that defense probably needs to step up and say hey that's not how you handle things. Problem is it's tough to do that when he's the best player on the defense by far. I think Tank would be the guy to challenge him though. If you commit to something like that, show up.

I dont know how prevalent it is now other than Aaron Rodgers on Macafee, but I do remember back 30+ years ago, it seems like a player or two would have their own TV show special each week. It was usually the QB of that team. So precedent has been set.

Sorry but that's after the fact rationalization. He knew (or should have been informed) of exactly who he was dealing with in going on that show. I mean, trash Skip was the one who made light of Dak's mental health struggles after the personal losses he suffered. That alone was reason to have your QB's back and not sign up for that junk. He didn't do that when he thought he could get something out of it. So now it's just sour grapes about getting blasted by TB and Fornette's block and reneging on the commitment. It's not harsh, it's calling out the fear to man up when you gave your word and using PR spin to do so. It's weak. We all have our moments though and this is just his.
