There is no I in team, but there is a ME. I like that he has high expectations....
I like that he has a drive too Ranch buddy but at times I’m not sure where his message comes from. Guess I shouldn’t worry about that. Just ready to hsve a magic ride one season

You certainly are a bunch of professional spinmeisters when it comes to anything coming out of Micah’s mouth.

A few weeks back I was viewing MP’s resigning as being in question pending what you could get for the player and his asking price. Now, after seeing the Cowboys with him back for a few weeks, it’s clear that his value on the field is much greater than what I thought. That defense is miles ahead with him on the field. Getting sacks or not – doesn’t matter, they’re just way better. My apologies to those of you I chuckled at for saying, “You don’t get rid of generational talent”. You guys are probably right.

Yes, he’s immature, and he hasn’t learned to operate with a filter, and he doesn’t always behave in a manner associated with the consummate pro’s pro. But who cares! The guy doesn’t get in trouble, weekly leaves it on the field, wants to be a Cowboy, and is telling you he wants to be great. He’s publicly setting an almost unattainable bar for himself to reach. By doing so he’s making himself accountable to reach those goals. I think a little more applauding and a little less chiding is in order…and this is coming from a D-bag, Philthy fan, as you guys like to say.

So many with a defeatist attitude. We don't deserve him, but we need more with his mindset. It's so obvious watching him on the field and his reactions when things don't go our way. He hates losing. He wants to win, and that's becoming more and more rare by the year. Yall are outside your minds if you want to let him go. Trade for a kings ransom? Sure. Otherwise this is the guy we should be building around. Have yall not noticed how much better the defense has been since he came back from injury? How they improved virtually overnight when he landed in Dallas? It's no coincidence, yet so many are ready to run him out of town. It's absolute madness at the highest level.
I know he told Jerry last he wanted help at DT. Maybe he will ask for less many for us to get a DT. Since he wants to win so badly.

Then focus on football and not podcasts.
Sigh.

8.5 sacks in 10 games this year. Third in the NFL in pressure rate. Double teamed all the time. 49 sacks in 60 career games. 8 forced fumbles. 108 QB hits. 59 TFLs. Top-10 in TFLs in 2 out of his 4 seasons. Tied for 8th in the NFL in sacks this year despite missing, what, 5 games?

Sounds like he's focusing on football plenty enough to me.

Do you think Micah dropping his podcast would propel this team to a Super Bowl? Yes or no.

It's kind of sad that another career will probably be wasted by staying in Dallas.

He definitely will unless something drastic changes. I hate to say it but he would probably end up like Ware and get one ring or more at a better organization

8.5 vs which teams? Whats their OL ranked at?

How many did he have vs SF in 2021 and 2022 and how many against GB? Was he a factor against Buffalo in 2023? Against SF? Against all mighty Arizona?

Im pretty sure you are far from being someone who understands data (can tell), but data represents more than numbers. So Mr. “Sigh” more football when it matters and less talk on so called shows.

Then again, people keep clapping at 13 sacks in regular season and then come here to cry when we get destroyed in playoffs.

For your non sense question, no. But he could have done more in the past.

So ill keep this post saved.

Micah Parsons is generational. Only fools would try and trade him, unless they are getting a major package in return and have too many holes to fill. If refs called holds against him, it wouldn't even be fair.

I don't even care about his mouth, as that's par on course for athletes. Some just aren't in the public eye like he is, but with podcasts becoming standard, this is going to be more and more evident.

I mean sacks don't indicate pressure nor defensive game plans and SF didn't put up points.

C o n t e x t….

The original reply first mentioned sacks, therefore i will talk about sacks.

Pressures matter, yes, but how many times people here complained about players making pressure like Anthony “almost” Spencer and telling it make no difference at all.

Sorry I just don’t understand you guys keep salivating for this guy when he clearly complains a lot and his focus is more on media (interviews, podcast and pr) than actual football.

If Parsons was smart he would hit free agency and get as far away from these morons as possible.
Most players believe that they can win where they are. They have those kinds of egos and are so encouraged to believe in each other that they buy into it. I'm sure Micah thinks the only reason we're not in contention for a Super Bowl this year is because of all the injuries.

Ware had to leave to get his, but even he didn't want to leave. The Joneses did him a favor when they kicked him to the curb.
