So just a cosmetic figurehead? I'm sure he is not responsible for any real operation management.

Congrats to him, I guess. I'm honestly surprised they gave him a President role because his podcast is pretty bad.

Micah is clearly setting up his career/brand for after football, and I can't blame anyone for doing that. On the flip side though if his play dips this year or he fades down the stretch he is opening himself up for backlash from the fans in the same way Tony Romo had his golf career or the Hotboyz pushed merch.

As a Cowboy fan I hate this, but if I were Micahs financial advisor I would tell him to do exactly what he's doing. Very mixed emotions with this dude.

I'm really struggling to understand why everyone's so concerned about Micha. He's a grown man, after all, and he's not harming anyone. There's a lot of bitterness in your voices. Men hating on another person for chasing his dreams? That's just brilliant. Totally worth the time and energy. Maybe it's time to let it go.

It would be better if he was as good as he can really be or possibly be in games that matter most! If he's going to be a great players, be that great player, be great! Just seems that for now, we're not seeing that. Regular season sacks they're good, but it's another season come playoff time

Micah can do whatever he pleases. I think people are allowed to be skeptical of his decisions outside of football though for a variety of reasons. A lot of businesses out there wont let their employees have other careers if it interferes with their primary one. For Micah he's created PR issues both for himself and the Cowboys on multiple occasions already through his podcast, no showing media appearances after a loss, etc.

Personally I respect his drive as a businessman and think he's smart to grow his brand at the peak of his popularity, but as a Cowboy fan I really struggle with what he's doing. I watched part of the draft show with him and CJ Stroud and it's just night and day watching those two individuals with a camera in front of them.

If I'm the Cowboys I think I'm monitoring this situation closely. I'm not saying you look for ways to move on from the guy, but if you notice his media career is becoming problematic with his playing career you might have to have some not so fun conversations.

With the way he plays and the way they used him people are surprised his tank is running on fumes by seasons end. Everyone here since he got here has asked for more Micah. He is an undersized DE that is asked to move all over the LOS and people wonder why he is nicked up and worn out by week 12

Is he really running on fumes by week 12 though? His pressure rates, hits on the QB, hurries, and even sack numbers are pretty consistent throughout the year. The only exceptions are the blowout games early in the year when opposing teams were forced to pass the ball 90% of the time in the 2nd half. I think the bigger issue is that he's an undersized DE who is elite against the pass, but needs to move off the ball on run downs.
