To win. He could make way more money here with sponsorships etc. He left because he wants a SB. Plain and simple. He’s not a dumb guy. He sees what they do. He knows he now has a chance with a young team in GB. This team isn’t going anywhere for a long time…….

The Pack is better with him but we are better off without him

Yeah you’re wrong. Micah said himself he never wanted to leave. He left for money.

Yeah .. $47 million reasons per year :D

I would too if I were him ...
We offered him a lot as well. Plus the stupid brand that is tarnished for years. It’s why we’re all here. But that GB team has talent and youth. This team has Lamb and Tyler and a bunch of nothing after that…..

Micah did the Cowboys a favor by continuing to ask for more.

If that didn’t happen Jerry would have signed Micah and this team we be even more stuck then they were yesterday.

This trade opens a door to healing for this team and its fans.

The only question that remains is if Jerry will ruin this situation and everyone knows the odds are against us, but at least there is a ray of light now.

If Jerry and his family brought in a GM before next years draft we could really get something going soon.

Didn't he say something to the effect that he didn't need to be the highest paid? And he ended up the highest paid.

Not much difference between 30 and 40 million.
Players say that, and some even mean it when they do, but then their agents (if they are good of course) remind them that every contract may be their last and than they need to capitalize on their valuation when they can because a lot can change between this and the next contract.

I think he meant it when he said it, but I think over time he realized he needed to be pragmatic rather than emotional about it.
