By far our best player, time and time throughout the game he looked like he was just there! Hurts to say this about our best player, but he just seemed like hey we did great the last two weeks, we're good enough to beat them. He just didn't look himself

Body language was definitely telling. They were discouraged and frustrated and nothing was working.

No excuses for their performance. They are the better team and should have won. A lesser team took their lunch money and embarrassed them. Now they get to deal with national criticism at least for the next week.

That said— they had a tough week. They lost Diggs and other injuries clearly had an impact. They also met a feisty, desperate 0-2 team that was pissed off and ready to make a statement.

It was a buzzsaw game, and the Cowboys walked right into it. Soooooo frustrating— but it does happen. Hopefully they learn from this FAIL and grow from it.

Otherwise, the stink from this Sunday might threaten to take them into a depression.

IMO— I think they bounce back next week. They should be healthier and playing at home should help them out.

Nothing was working. You could've stopped right there. It was a bizarre day on so many levels. I know the Cowboys are better, but they didn't show it. It is alarming that they could look this bad.

I feel he gets compromised with a RPO QB that's capable of scrambling. It's a bit like the Hurts game last year, using Micah's quest for the sack against him. Sometimes you need to play a defensive Defense.....whereas we seem to want to get to the back field in almost every down.

Agreed… Absolutely bizarre. The game got off on the wrong foot, and we never recovered.

It was a thorough butt kicking in every phase. Own it, learn from it, and move on and go to war next week.

They got full of themselves and thought they were going to have an easy game.
Guarantee all 3 of our linemen could have played yesterday. They got cute and thought we'd win with backups against such a poor team. That "we don't have to go 100%" rippled through the rest of the team, and it was obvious on tape. They all looked like they got in at 3am on gameday morning.

the whole team looked like they were just there. they weren't ready. they didn't take AZ seriously and drank their own kool aid, thinking we are the cowboys, we show up and they will roll over.

welcome to the NFL boys

Micah was too tired from walking around Growling....and making plans to "bite peoples noses off"

He spent too much time feeling sorry for the Cardinals for how he was going to unleash his 10th grade emotions on them after the Diggs injury, and not enough time preparing and doing everything possible to beat an NFL team desperate for a win.

Growling ...LOL...once I started reading that, and reading that the OLine was putting the whole super lame "growling " thing out there, I knew we were cooked.

And the people in here....just lap that junior high school krap up....like idiots!!! I musta seen 20 or 30 fanboy posts in here, worked up to a frenzy because they read their man-idol was growling!!! HA HA HA!!! Low low IQ krap..... and a sign of a mentally weaK team (and fan base)

Not when he was doing his crawl after having had his butt whipped up to that point. But he needs the content for his podcast and national media shows and so he can be his own hype man.

The Cowboys were not mentally prepared to take on a motivated opponent who was ready for a physical game. The other team gets paid to play, too, and the overall level of talent from team to team is not all that far off from each other. The Cowboys got punched in the chops early and often and didn't come in with the motivation to recover and fight back.
