Everyone looked uninterested, and I had a bad feeling that would happen. Every time fans start anointing the team this is what happens.

Agreed. Diggs was our real leader, on and off the field. Parsons does nothing but blow hot air every season. Losing him seems to have killed the spirit of that unit. Parsons is supposedly our leader on defense so where was he yesterday to get this group rallied behind him? Don't see it at all. No idea who the leader of this defense is at this point. Hoe easily the lowly Cardinals took him out the game is very concerning.

I have already voiced my concerns about Parsons in the past but most just blow them off because they feel he can do no wrong. His extension is coming soon and I hope he is going to get the same treatment other players get when they don't show up when it matters.
He's from where I'm from I know people that know him, I'm off the train I'm a fan first. He's good he does his thing, I think he gets too much credit for the plays he made as a rookie

...the Diggs absence, was huge yesterday. He's part of the Mental Mojo of defense.

Somehow they need to find the substitute for themselves. Winning will fix that.

They looked like they thought they could make a few plays and win it. Like a play or 2 could make the difference.

By far our best player, time and time throughout the game he looked like he was just there! Hurts to say this about our best player, but he just seemed like hey we did great the last two weeks, we're good enough to beat them. He just didn't look himself
Saw the same damn thing. Glad I'm not crazy.

Body language was definitely telling. They were discouraged and frustrated and nothing was working.

No excuses for their performance. They are the better team and should have won. A lesser team took their lunch money and embarrassed them. Now they get to deal with national criticism at least for the next week.

That said— they had a tough week. They lost Diggs and other injuries clearly had an impact. They also met a feisty, desperate 0-2 team that was pissed off and ready to make a statement.

It was a buzzsaw game, and the Cowboys walked right into it. Soooooo frustrating— but it does happen. Hopefully they learn from this FAIL and grow from it.

Otherwise, the stink from this Sunday might threaten to take them into a depression.

IMO— I think they bounce back next week. They should be healthier and playing at home should help them out.
Well said

the whole team looked like they were just there. they weren't ready. they didn't take AZ seriously and drank their own kool aid, thinking we are the cowboys, we show up and they will roll over.

welcome to the NFL boys
then you gotta look at McCarthy, because I sure as hell would have blamed Garrett in this same situation...and they had plenty of these same situations under Garrett (coming out flat).

To me this is a sign they took the Cardinals too lightly. They expected the game to go their way and it didn't. They played poorly. The Cardinals played well. If these two teams line up 10 times Dallas would win 9 times. But yesterday they lost. It was a bad game. Take accountability and move on. The next team they face has a really good defense too, and they have a good DL. We all know the head coach knows how to plan a defense for an offense. Hopefully the get some of the offensive linemen back. If I had to guess, I think Martin and Smith will be back. I am not sure about Biadasz. But I do think missing one of their linemen, while not ideal, will not be as much of a problem as missing 3 against Arizona.

Guarantee all 3 of our linemen could have played yesterday. They got cute and thought we'd win with backups against such a poor team. That "we don't have to go 100%" rippled through the rest of the team, and it was obvious on tape. They all looked like they got in at 3am on gameday morning.
Could any of them play QB cause if not it wouldn’t have mattered. With backups we still had a very productive running and blocking game. This all world defense crapped the bed and Dak was his usual inaccurate, bad decisions making self.
