he was probably tired from going around roaring all day. "roar", well, "meow, meow"

Another riveting thread topic.
I'm always amazed that fans are able to get into a players psyche.

Lmao, yea that whole growling thing was weak. Is it supposed to be intimidating?
Maybe if you are 13.

To the Cardinals...they were probably like "Yes! Micah is focusing on Twitter again, and not on his job!"

That's how you get upsets..... (not that ANY game is a gimme). People act like this is college....and we are Ohio State, and the Cardinals are Duke or Montana or something. The worst NFL team in the league (which the Cardinals are not) can beat the best team in the league (no way to know who that is so early...but probably the Chiefs) if the best team isn't 100% focused and ready....and even then the better team can still lose with an unlucky brthere. Bounce here or therw.

IMHO Parsons was one of the few guys that actually showed up.
Reality is Parsons has set a high bar around here and if he's not hitting the QB 10 times a game and racking up multiple sacks in a game and causing turnovers, he gets lambasted with criticism.

He was fine yesterday. Not dominant but not disinterested. He had a sack, he clearly was hustling, he had some errors specifically on some run plays. He was far from the problem yesterday.

The whole defense spent too much time on twitter at the end of last week and not enough time preparing for the Cardinals. Shouldn't take a loss like this for them to learn that they can't go into games unfocused or taking teams lightly.

Hopefully it was just one of those games where everything ***** the bed.

Cards had one heck of a game plan to take advantage of our overly aggressive OL. They got bodied to start the game and never recovered. I was shocked how much they ran at Parsons though. Couple of the plays he was completely dumbfounded

By far our best player, time and time throughout the game he looked like he was just there! Hurts to say this about our best player, but he just seemed like hey we did great the last two weeks, we're good enough to beat them. He just didn't look himself
Almost like he is smart enough to sniff a Dak meltdown.

Micah and the defense I think must have decided 2 pay homage to Diggs by doing what they did yesterday. Thats all I can figure. It was bizarre.

He was working very hard and Arizona was paying close attention to him. He was still our best and most disruptive player. Guys like Fowler and Kearse were horrid. The DTs were no where to be found. The LBs were awful.

Agreed. Diggs was our real leader, on and off the field. Parsons does nothing but blow hot air every season. Losing him seems to have killed the spirit of that unit. Parsons is supposedly our leader on defense so where was he yesterday to get this group rallied behind him? Don't see it at all. No idea who the leader of this defense is at this point. Hoe easily the lowly Cardinals took him out the game is very concerning.

I have already voiced my concerns about Parsons in the past but most just blow them off because they feel he can do no wrong. His extension is coming soon and I hope he is going to get the same treatment other players get when they don't show up when it matters.

Fowler really seemed out of whack yesterday. Overrunning plays, etc. LVE was brutal. Armstrong also was gashed a few times on the edge on long runs too.

So Parsons didn't show up yesterday? He was our most productive defender yesterday, by far.

The anti-Parsons crowd is definitely a funny group.

Meh. Seems the bar for him is different. As long as he is trying hard and working hard, that's all that's asked? Yeah, not going to cut it seeing he is going to command a huge contract coming up, You don't pay that money to worker bees. Of course Arizona is going to pay attention to him, he is one of the best talents out there on defense in the whole league. What separates his talent from the rest is that he actually fights through that and still makes plays.

Each season, we have seen his production drop off when we need it most ending the season and into the playoffs. But he gets excuses while others don't,

He had a sack yesterday, was in the backfield a bunch, he was one of the few that was hustling the whole game.

Picking on Parsons today seems........... odd. Was it his most dominant game? Of course not but he played well enough that if the rest of the D weren't turds, they probably would have done much better. Parsons can't make the LB suck less yesterday or make Kearse suck less yesterday or make Gilmore not look 50 years old yesterday.

Haha he wasn’t disinterested he was overmatched by two big bodies. The left tackle is massive, and the center is an absolute trolley of a man - Froholdt 6 5 325

Sometimes mass beats speed

Body language was definitely telling. They were discouraged and frustrated and nothing was working.

No excuses for their performance. They are the better team and should have won. A lesser team took their lunch money and embarrassed them. Now they get to deal with national criticism at least for the next week.

That said— they had a tough week. They lost Diggs and other injuries clearly had an impact. They also met a feisty, desperate 0-2 team that was pissed off and ready to make a statement.

It was a buzzsaw game, and the Cowboys walked right into it. Soooooo frustrating— but it does happen. Hopefully they learn from this FAIL and grow from it.

Otherwise, the stink from this Sunday might threaten to take them into a depression.

IMO— I think they bounce back next week. They should be healthier and playing at home should help them out.
Whoa now with your positivity is that allowed here??
