That's my only concern about giving him a truck full of money. I'd take him over anyone as a pure pass rusher, but I really worry about his maturity level to be a leader in the locker room. I need the top 5 guys on my payroll to be more than individual contributors.

Most OTAs are voluntary. I believe teams typically have 2 or 3 day mandatory period of OTAs but that could be outdated info.

EDIT - Yeah OTAs and minicamp seem to be seperate things anymore per a google search. Anything OTA seems to be voluntary.

How'd last year turn out though? I get it, this isn't the end of the world, but this is another example of a lack of leadership on this team. This is the type of stuff fans are going to look at and be critical of when you get blown off the field against Green Bay to end the year and the entire defense basically threw in the towel before half.

New coordinator, new system, several 1st and 2nd year players expected to make an impact along the front seven a veteran like Micah could be helping out. No reason to not be there this year.

I know it's old school, I know it's cliche, but I believe there is a lot of truth to the idea that championships are won during this time of year.

heres both sides of the coin. Its just May, no big deal. But, what about being all in and being a dawg? A leader? Does not showing up make you look like leader who's willing to do everything to win? Just sayin. I mean, Micah is ALWAYS talking about MICAH and puttin out hype vids with him sumo wrestling, taking gut punches, lol..training, HIS PODCAST where he's always talking about, you guessed it, HIMSELF and how he's being mistreated. In the end, JERRY AND STEPHEN HAVE CREATED THIS MONSTER BY THE WAY THEY RUN THE SHIP THE LAST 30 YEARS. The ship is sinking like the Titanic the way I see it.
