I personally think Micah is overrated at this point. No progression from his rookie year. Great player but not worth 30 million per.

His loyalty should be to the team that drafted him.

End of story.
Should all players be loyal? Imagine that.. all teams would have exactly the same players for years.. should teams be loyal to players?.. we would have no FA's

Its a business.. loyalty is a thing of the past... if there ever was such a thing.

I’d trade parson regardless if can get 2 firsts and maybe a 2nd /3rd round pick instead of making him highest defensive player ever. Give me 3-4 good players at lower salary.

Exactly. N.F.L. front offices are never loyal to players. Yet fans want players to have blind loyalty to a team. It is a cut throat business.

I understand loyalty to your coaches, but what about loyalty to the organization?
Ill take 1st round pics in 2024 and 2025, 2nd round picks in 2024 and 2025, 3rd round picks in 2024 and 2025.

Thanks signed a loyal Cowboys fan
Players are primarily loyal to the dollar. They see the NFL as a business, which it is for them, and will go wherever they can get paid the most. That's why players will tell a coach to come get them when they are unhappy with their contract. It's all about the Benjamins.

As I mentioned in another third, when Emmitt's first contract ran out (the year he missed the first two games while trying to negotiate a new one), he contacted Don Shula and tried to get him to make him an offer that Jerry couldn't match. No one thinks of Emmitt as disloyal because the team paid him what he wanted to keep him.

Well this could be him telling Jerry to pony up, and back up the U Haul of cash to keep DQ....did anybody tell Micah he also has no say in where he can go still, lol

100% of Micah is an Eagles fan.
Maybe but irrelevant our man Micah is just looking to be paid JJ Watt type of money and more.
Is he worth it?
Maybe and maybe not as at this point he is no JJ Watt.

Micah grew up an Eagles fan.

He has no loyalties to the Cowboys.

He roots for the Eagles in the playoffs when the Cowboys are out.
The guy was campaigning to be a Cowboy long before the draft. Im sure I could dig up multiple links in a few minutes. If you dont remember, we traded our pick to the Eagles...who picked 2 picks before us that year. The guy is not afraid to speak his mind...why not publicly talk about an interest in the Eagles as he did the Cowboys?

Haha, I knew we would make a bigger deal about this. Micah likely isn't going anywhere.. Tone/context is important because he made this comment as a joke as the media laughed along with him. Clearly he has a special relationship with Quinn, but doesn't mean he doesn't want to be here so its senseless to get annoyed over a joke.

That’s not a smart comment to make. Flabbergasted he could be so naive to make such a dumb comment. I know he’s saying it in jest but not the right choice.
That’s what I’m sensing from him….immaturity, says stupid stuff.

I want to blame Jerry for the circus environment right before the playoffs, but Parsons just seems like a total buffoon at this point.

True but God forbid we expect our faces of the franchise to not publicly insinuate leaving for another team days before a playoff game. Could you imagine Michael Irvin saying this even though he loved Jimmy?
I agree. I’ll go watch the video. Was he joking and playing around?

If he's going with DQ then let's each pony up $5 and donate it to Tapper to ensure Carolina takes em both...that will show them

He's actually changed his toon a bit, before he was going where Quinn was going no matter what. Now he might take him with him.

That's cool, but we are going to need some Walker Trade type compensation in return.

Parsons is not going to a different team at this time. If he does not sign a second contract with the Cowboys I guess he could sign with another team. That’s a fifth year option and two tags away. Micah should be more worried about being worth significant compensation and let DQ do the same.

You know Micah in Dan's ear about taking that Philly job so he can force his way out of Dallas and back to Philly and Dan.
Pennsylvania is a big state and Harrisburg and Philly is not close. Harrisburg is Steelers country, so what's this talk about going back to Philly? People on this board hang on to every word the players or coaches or Jerry says. At this point the joke is on yall cause I can't remember the last time I heard anything truthful come out of any League organization, pick the sport.
