The players have a limited lifespan to make the kind of money that they make playing football. The owners can literally do it in the same role until death. The players are the game, not the owners.

Do you settle for less money in any negotiation with your company? Or, do you try to make as much as you can? Does that make you greedy?

The NFL CBA is clear... if a player has an agent, teams have to negotiate with their agent. And it should be obvious that a handshake isn't good enough to validate a $200M deal with no paperwork.

Jerry tried to pull a fast one, in violation of rules he probably wasn't even smart enough to know existed, and threw a tantrum when he got called out. That's all there is to it. His narcissism makes him believe that he's a masterful wheeler-dealer, but he's an amateur in a league of professionals.

GMs can negotiate without their agent. The deal can’t be finalized without the agent.

3. At the end, he says if you notice Jerry always has full control over his players. What does that even mean? CeeDee and Dak didn't get great contracts? How does Jerry have full control when he (stupidly) guarantees too much money and gives no-trade clauses?

The real “brotherhood” is the owners, who collude with one another constantly to protect their interests.

The Jones Boyz are the problem. Pretending otherwise is just moronic. People pick and choose when they want to blame the player whether it be Micah, Pickens, Dak, CeeDee or someone else, but when push comes to shove it's always the Jones Boyz screwing it up and delaying it instead of just getting it done early and saving the cap space (if they signed them all early it's All Pro salary we could have saved) and saving morale and getting everyone in camp early instead of an offseason of who shows up when and who is in shape for week 1 and who isn't.
