What makes no sense is the fact that the Cowboys haven't floated his name as a possible trade candidate. Parsons has been a beast for the most part, but since the NFL has figured out how to neutralize him, Parsons hasn't been that one man wrecking crew that he used to be. Why not put his name out there and see if they get any serious bite. If the Cowboys keep Parsons and end up signing him to some outrageous mega contract, it's only going to hurt and hamper the team's ability to be competitive in their own division. Especially since it appears that Washington is now one of the Big Dogs in the Eastern Division.
I would trade him for a high price. Two 1s and a 3.

SF is going to run the ball down the defense's throat so idk how much Micah would've helped...might as well rest another game.

I think the FO is delighted to have Micah on the sidelines. No playing = no stats. If Micah finishes the year with only 6 sacks, Jerry figures he can lowball Micah at the bargaining table.
Ive genuinely come to believe Jerry's incapable of low balling a current Dallas player. Now if you aren't a member of the family? Well see Derrick Henry.

Nobody and I mean NOBODY is going to pay a king's ransom for Parsons. Maybe a #2 or #3, nothing higher because he's not worth it. If he was on the same level as JJ Watts then I would a #1, but he's not. The league has figured him out and that is very bad news for the Cowboys.
