Refs under a microscope-finally! Trash those part timers and hire full time professionals and better trained referees with a more transparent and accountable system!  These clowns make around 150K a year (in that range), so it's not a money issue for the NFL but it sure is a quality issue with us fans..

Exactly, full time, and all penalties should be reviewable.

What is a "full time" official going to do? Sit in an office 50 weeks a year, watch film and take tests? What would that accomplish? Perfection?

You're never going to have perfect officials any more than you're going to have perfect players and coaches. Seems weird how refs are never supposed to miss calls in games where players and coaches screw up over and over again. Coaches make dumb decisions, players drop passes/miss tackles, and refs blow calls. It's the human element.

Fair enough, however, if there's a clear an obvious officiating error on a penalty, then reviewing it can help correct it.

It's always the most talented players like Aaron Donald and others who typically have that problem. Seems to me like there's a way to talk to officials about that and ways not to. I'd suggest that Micah would careful to avoid being rude. Some refs might take it out on the team when that occurs. It's a tough job that officials have and it's quite difficult to avoid an occasional spur-of-the-moment screwup.

Shut it, Joe. The NFL head office and the crooked Refs have been evidently fixing games by helping certain teams. Enough is enough. It's like taxation without representation. It's picking favorites and helping those favorites out only, all while everyone else is paying the price. It's simply not fair nor right, so it's only right that the unfairly treated teams/players publicly call out such years-long illegal and unfair treatment. Call them out in public and make the whole organization look embarrassing, because that is exactly what the league office and them crooked refs have created.

Screw your wrong and personal attacks, Joe! You're absolutely wrong!! I'm 100% all for the rule of law, but when that rule of law is unfairly being used against certain teams but not everyone else, that's when the unfairly treated should publicly voice their displeasure and embarrass the organization for deliberately and intentionally abusing those laws while unfairly applying them only to certain teams/players instead of everyone evenly.
