Like it or not,
Division foe or not,

.. Hurts has to be in that MVP conversation, with him playing so well and effective and his team having best win-loss record in the entire NFL.
And Lamar Jackson proved that you don't have to be a record breaking passer to win an MVP.

The new coaches successfully made him into a difference making QB. His once questionable passing game isn't the liability it once was.
He is running a very effective, potent and dangerous offense. And in two seasons, they have added him prominent WR weapons (ala AJ Brown, Devontae Smith)
- Something the Cowboys has had issues adding since Amari Cooper departed.
That's why the Beckam, Hilton partake have came onto the scene this late in the season.

Clearly made a case for MVP. Much improved passer than he was last season, where are long as you contain him you had a good chance to beating Philly. This season has shown he can use his arm and weapons to get the job done. I look forward to this match up.

Some of us discussed this happening. Micah said all the right things his rookie year and our only concern was, will being around Jerry and his traveling circus infect him with diharia if the mouth?

Here's our answer in real time. Not a good look for him after 2 subpar games too

I haven't seen a player do as much talking as Micah in a long time.

Love the kid, but this dude loves cameras and microphones almost as much as Jerry.

Btw, nice job by the canes of picking up 11 out of a possible 12 points on the road and a couple shutouts by the rook goalie

I hope he can back up his talk. Lane Johnson hasn't given up a sack in 2 years. I just don't get the insults. Micah should have just said, "Yeah, I'm impressed. Hurtz might be the greatest QB ever!". Not that it's remotely true... but that's what you say Micah.

A 2nd year player is now an expert on QB’s and MVP’s?

He “understands so much about the game”? How about learning all there is all to know about LB?

Before that playoff game, he shot off his rookie mouth that he should be on the other team’s best offensive player. Maybe he should go back over that game film and see just how he played in that game.

He is a very good player but he is not close to another Penn St LB in recognition. Sean Lee? Now, he understood the game. If he had Parson’s uncanny athletic ability, they would have to create a new award.

Master your own position before trying to be an expert on another’s. Particularly one you will be facing again.

.....but our team has been fradulent for over 25 years. Calm down. Truth be told......Hurts is an MVP candidate.
Nah. When you think of this season the first person that comes to your mind is Justin Jefferson.

Your mind......ok. That's fine. But the rest of know........A QB will be named, and Hurts is at the top of the list right now, regardless of any denials.

What's the issue? You have cowboys fans saying this about their own qb but people are mad that a division rival is questioning the rival's qb? The Eagles did what they were supposed to do, which was aggresively surround their QB with a ton of talent. If Jalen is a 'system qb', who really cares if they are hoisting a sb trophy at the end of the year?

Remember when Carson was the miracle qb cowboys fans were lusting after until he went out and Foles won the SB and Wentz looked like a completely different qb on another team? Hurts is doing what he should as a qb, but to deny the talent that Philly is surrounding him with is fantasy.

I say 2022 nfl season and you think of Justin Jefferson and him winning games. You think of josh Allen and manholes and how Allen has thrown weird picks. You think about the eagles and how they have been dominant but you aren’t thinking of hurts or any one play he’s made. You think of Micah wrecking games over hurts. Sure the eagles are 11-1 but they’ve had some close games he hasn’t been special

we’ve seen limited quarterbacks manage a team before. That’s not what this award is for.

It that is what you want to believe this year to come up with names besides Hurt.......have at it. Josh Allen is probably no longer in the running, Micah has no chance right now but will get votes, Justin Jefferson has no chance.......I don't have a crystal ball.

It will be put up or shut up, as this could be easily deemed "bulletin board" material. For starters, Micah will have to cash the check he is writing or eat crow in 2 weeks. Love Micah, but he has to learn to slow down with talk......this game can be very humbling.

Jalen is a system QB. They have catered their non-traditional offense to his strengths. Its a good "system" but he couldn't play QB in the kind of offense most of the NFL runs. He does what he does very well and is piling up impressive stats this year. He seems to improve every year, but his ceiling is Lamar Jackson. His game isn't going to hold up in the playoffs. We stuffed him for 3 out of 4 quarters the first time we saw this offense. Teams that can't pressure him get killed but that is our strength.

So, Micah is not wrong but he needs shut up.

Well, if they're killing teams with a non-traditional offense, shouldn't the teams with the traditional offenses change to a non-traditional offense so they can be part of the killing too?
