This should be a nothing-burger but the media is blowing it up of course and now the eagles have bulletin board material.

Dont give eggles extra motivation, not that they need any to go against divisional rivals.

instead of talking in shows, do your talking in the field, help cowboys beat eggles .

I hope he can back up his talk. Lane Johnson hasn't given up a sack in 2 years. I just don't get the insults. Micah should have just said, "Yeah, I'm impressed. Hurtz might be the greatest QB ever!". Not that it's remotely true... but that's what you say Micah.
Lane Johnson is playing with a strained ab muscle. If anyone is going to get a sack against him, now is the time.

I hope this is not an "open mouth, insert foot" moment. I really do. Got to learn to be more media savvy or simply just keep mouth closed. Totally unnecessary.

As to these comments

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35252762/eagles-jordan-mailata-micah-parsons-worry-own-team

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles players on Wednesday swatted away comments by Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons, who questioned how much Jalen Hurts has to do with Philadelphia's success.

That pushback was made most forcefully by Hurts' blindside protector, left tackle Jordan Mailata.

"I'm going to worry about the Chicago Bears this week, mate, worry about this game. Micah should worry about his game this week, too. I don't know who the f--- they're playing, pardon my language. Just worry about who you got this week," Mailata said.

Well, if they're killing teams with a non-traditional offense, shouldn't the teams with the traditional offenses change to a non-traditional offense so they can be part of the killing too?

Know a lot of QBs who can run for 100 yards and pass for 200? We'll see if this offense works in the playoffs. Lamar Jackson is a perfect example. He puts up huge regular season numbers but fizzles out against playoff caliber defenses in january.

Our defense shut them down most of the game. Philly's real strength isn't their offense. It's their defense. That defense allows the second fewest yard in the NFL and that translates into more possessions for philly's offense.

it's obviously going to motivate Hurts, and the team will rally around him. I'm sure Parsons was baited into the conversation, and he fell for it hook line and sinker.

But you know what Mike Tyson's famous saying was? I just hope it's you guys that get punched in the mouth not us.

Good lord. This was not bulletin board material. I watched the whole hour podcast.

It's obvious from some comments that people are not that smart because he said nothing negative at all about the eagles.

He only said hurts benefits from a good system and that the eagles defense is the mvp.

And that is true.

How is this bulletin board material for those who say it is?

Exactly, talk is cheap.

Instead of worrying about if Hurts is in the MVP race, maybe Parsons should be worrying about how he couldnt even get a single sack agaisnt a 1-10 team rotating CFL QBs against him.

Just saying.
..you trying beating double/triple teams on every play?

Love or hate the Eagles, but no way you can not be impressed by this kid's composure and leadership.

"System QB" is such a stupid thing. EVERY QB has their strengths in certain systems, Tom Brady is an absolute outlier.

Maybe this will be a fluke season for Hurts, but as of now, the dude is play dang good football.
He's not a systems quarterback. A systems quarterback is usually someone with no mobility, and a one dimensional average skill set. Someone like Nick Foles.

Mikaah is not wrong imo, hurts is good but look at that OL and those 3 weapons at the WR end, even miles Sander is having a beast year, also Goedert is back and is probably a top 3 tight end in the league behind Kelce and that ****** in SF

Of course the media is blowing it up and of course its bulletin board material for the Eagles, they take that as disrespect of their leader. This is why every thought in mind does not have to come out of your mouth on camera or off your fingertips into social media. Philly is worried about football, our guys are worried about talking.

Talk all the trash you like, as players, but if you roll snake eyes in the playoffs (again) then fans should expect the team to be mocked and not cry about it.

"ESPN said this"..."other fans said that"...it's a put up or shut up league. It's been years since the Cowboys put up, so maybe they should shut up until they win something?
The team in the 90's did a lot of talking but they always backed it up. If you don't back it up you just look stupid.

HELLS BELLS, with Philly sitting on top of our division with an OUTSTANDING 12-1 record I wish I was an Eagles fan, but I'm stuck with a less than mediocre QB who has been trying his damnedest to give away games this whole dam year AND with teams that have some talent heading our way I'm afraid the Boys may not win another game this season.
10-3. I’m happy you’re so miserable.
