So in your mind, a fan can't be critical of a Cowboys player? Is that what you are saying? As I stated in what I wrote, I did praise Parsons for his on-the-field play but was critical of his off-the-field Twitter usage. Where is the problem with that?

How is pointing out facts about a player belittling them? As for my social media use, this is a forum for fans not at the level of public responsibility of an NFL player so while you may not like it, the fact is Parsons is held to a higher standard than us fans.

I was just shy of high school graduation and enlistment during that time. My wife is a teacher of the deaf for nearly 20 years and I am fairly certain your teaching days have changed very much to the classrooms of today....I know they have based on my experience when compared to the stories my wife tells me daily.

Thanks. The only thing I can formulate with them is that it took half a season for Parsons to acclimate to the NFL game and then this past season he seemed to run out of gas.

No problem if it was an isolated case. But the isolated event is when you praised him. It’s perfectly normal to criticize a player, a coach or ownership but when that’s all one does like you, it speaks to something else.

You’ve “kicked” Dak while he was down plenty of times. not just pointed out facts. But sure i’ll agree players are held to a higher standard, but also point to the fact he’s a young dude raised in a completely different era and as a grown man engaging in similar behavior, it just oozes a lack of self awareness and self righteousness

My guess is that is about the closest thing we will ever receive from Rock to a disguised half apology...perhaps...maybe....I'm not sure.
