I understand that, in hindsight that would have been the better move. But if there was a chance your best defensive player could have missed less time and been back sooner, then it's probably a chance you're willing to take. They also had the bye week in there so maybe he would have missed 2-3 games.

IMO, Parsons is going to try and stay healthy this year with the hope of getting out of Dallas. The team is going nowhere for quite some time and Parsons will make the Cowboys pay full freight for the 5th year option without agreeing to an extension.

He is not a DE. He should be a hunt and gather WSLB. Occasionally line up at DE. Dallas is the dumbest organization in football.

I just don't love the Cowboys chances this week without Micah. I hate to put that much into one player, but they just do not have much of a pass rush without him. Maybe Bland coming back gives Zimmer a little more faith to bring extra pressure??? Overshown has shown some sneaky good ability as a blitzer.

I can't imagine the Falcons aren't a better offense than this version of the 49ers. We're in trouble with zero pass rush to speak of.
