Micah to Dez: You could have changed the culture!

I’m not even sure what Micah is trying to say here. Why hasn’t Micah changed the culture then? He’s going into Year 4/5
I feel like the culture in a sense is not the issue. We saw this team spite itself numerous this season to win games when they could have mailed it in and got a better draft pick. This idea of playing right at the margin between good and bad and either picking up a key FA or slotting better for the draft is hurting us more culturally imo.

Only Jerry can change the culture. Everyone knows it but sometimes the frustration of knowing it gets the better of us. We know its not going to change.

After that demolishing at the hands of the Packers last year Jerry said "I'm all in". Then he backtracked. What signal does that send to his team? When he sat on his hands and did nothing during free agency, letting a number of his own players leave, what signal did that send the team? When he dragged h is feet signing CeeDee, what signal did that send his team? Did anything Jerry did in the offseason signal to his team that winning was his priority?

Is there any team in the playoffs this year with ownership that has signaled to its players, they won't or can't do everything they need to do to win?

Last night Washington looked like a team that wanted to win, and was sure it could win, not matter the hype around the Lions.

The culture in Dallas is set by the owner right now and no one player or even 5 players is going to change that. Jerry told the team he didn't put winning above everything else in the off season and his team looked like it.

Yeah Micah, because you are changing the culture now LOL

You are a huge part of the problem Micah the mouth

Be quiet and make your stupid workout videos and do your idiotic little podcasts because you will win absolutely ZERO SBs

ZERO
100%! What the crap is he talking about.

Micah thinks Dez was a yes man like Witten.

Dez tried to change the culture but players like Witten did whatever the company told them to do.
Yup this is shameful what's being said right now about Dez not trying to change the culture. Micah may really be too young to remember how Dez even ended up on the Cowboys and what all he had to do that first year to earn the star. Dez has a perspective that not many players will have. When an old head speaks up, the current players need to see that they want this thing to get back to what it was before.

Has there ever been a more annoying ex-Cowboy than Dez. I think it's about time for one of those patented Dez can still help this team comments...

:hammer:

Bingo! :hammer: This is why I said earlier, that they both have valid arguments. Parsons is right in that players before him haven't done anything to change the culture ( interestingly, he's not saying it but Dak is included since he was on the team with Dez ). But I'm not sure we have had a more passionate player who wanted to win and lead as badly as Dez since the Super Bowl years. But he never had the respect of his teammates ( never voted captain ) but he tried, no question about that.
We like our “fall in line” choir boys in Dallas. That’s why Snake Lee and Dak Trashscott got Dez outta town.
