+1 and like you, I have always been a Dez fan. I think that's what Parsons is saying but not saying. There's a reason Dez's teammates didn't respect his motivation to lead.Dez is my goat, but he has to stop revising history.
Dez was known to be late to meetings, had a poor diet, and didnt improve his craft after being here for 8 years.
He's not gonna do that. He knows whos writing the checks he wants. He's attacking dez cause it makes him look like he cares about the "culture", when in all actuality he dosent..hes just chasing the money.Micah is attacking the wrong guy, it should be Jerry.
It was more than this........Dez had his issues. Passionate player, hard worker but some basic fundamanetal issues compromised his teammates respect for him.We like our “fall in line” choir boys in Dallas. That’s why Snake Lee and Dak Trashscott got Dez outta town.
Truth.Dez is my goat, but he has to stop revising history.
Dez was known to be late to meetings, had a poor diet, and didnt improve his craft after being here for 8 years.
Which is exactly what makes Micah a punk. Shut up or call out the right people, and I'm not saying it cause I have a Dez avatar but calling out an ex player whose actually telling the truth is just wackNot with Mica’s contract on the horizon.
He promised he would ........we will see.If Micah puts his money where his mouth is, and takes less money, so the team can get more talent, then we'll see him trying to change the culture.
Dez and Lee should never be questioned on their "want to"Oh, it should be some former players also ...........but Dez isn't one of them. No player wanted it badder than Dez but he was one player.
Very good point. Airing it out on a public forum will draw more attention and make it harder to ignore.Maybe I'm missing something but I think it's healthy they are duking it out over culture change in public. This is exactly what this team needs IMO....change can't start w/o talking and dealing with head on. Give Parsons credit, not many CURRENT players would dare go there, especially w/o a new contract. The fact he's willing to discuss it in public......
You beat me to it by a minute. If Micah believes Dez could've changed the culture then why doesn't he think he can do the same? Is it too late in his opinion? If so, why would he want to stay a Cowboy?
I think that is what Dez is referring too. He does not want Kellen as the next head coach.Just wait till Kellen walks through those doors
Brings much needed attention ........ Jerry has to see it. That doesn't mean he will do thing about it but you can bet its a question writers will start asking a bit more.Very good point. Airing it out on a public forum will draw more attention and make it harder to ignore.
