He didn't necessarily "make them better", but his presence provided them with more opportunities.

Opportunity that wouldn’t be there if he wasn’t commanding attention like he was…which is odd that a receiver lacking talent like some here are saying does is getting so much attention from a defense.

if you’re creating opportunities for others to flourish and by doing so increasing the offense output of other players because of thes

Who said he lacks talent? He often seemed to lack desire, but his talent was never in question.

To be fair, I'm not sure if that was all he could be had for, or if that's just the best Jerry and Stephen could do...or were willing to do. But you could be right, I don't know. Maybe that's all anyone felt he was worth, considering we only got him for about half the games.
It’s hard to tell honestly I think we beat them up for what they got for him but I don’t think teams think as highly of him as we do. Mind you the first time we got him was because we were the only team willing to trade a 1st for him.

not you but the way he’s talked about here by others they surely do talk about like he’s lacking in that dept
I honestly have never seen anyone say he was a bad player. I think everyone agrees that he's a precision route runner. At worst, he may drop more passes than a number one receiver should.

Amari Cooper had 2 1000 yard seasons to start his career. His numbers dropped the next year with less games played and Todd Doening’s first year as an OC. But he did notch 7 TDs on 48 receptions, more than he caught in both years prior.

He played 3 and a half years there. Claiming he disappeared with the Raiders is a comical take. The Raiders traded him to get draft picks, just like they did Khalil Mack and after Mack was destroying everybody on the football field with the Bears. They had multiple offers including from the Commanders, they were shopping him because they knew he was going to command a lot of money that they didn’t want to pay for a WR and Gruden wanted to stockpile draft picks, They didn’t trade him for a fifth like us.

They were also shopping their first round draft pick in 2016 safety Karl Joseph.

ALL THREE OF THEM had the same agent Joel Segal.

again look at where he ranks even with less games compared to other receivers playing the same amount of games….your points is irrelevant. He was targeted significantly less than other number 1s.

How many other wr plays with 2 other capable 1000 yard recievers?

Micah is a good guy who supports his friend. enough said.
Exactly. I read this as one friend supporting another friend. No deeper meaning behind. Micah is not the type of dude that will do an interview or post something to cause drama or undermine a team mate.

There's only one idiot who's stupid enough, narcissistic enough, and most likely drunk to do that: Jerry. And he did earlier today.

you make their Job easier and open up the entire field for others and create opportunities. That’s the job of a number 1 receiver. To create enough defensive attention so if you aren’t getting yours others can lol.

So why are you crying about how many times he was targeted? The ball was going to the open reciever.

Do you think he was always locked in?
Its been reported that the coaches were frustrated with Cooper lack of practice when putting in the gameplan. But keep thinking everything was all roses with Amari, and I love the guy.

But I thought Amari and Dak had some unique chemistry and unlike Romo, Dak worked hard.

https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/.amp...ari-cooper-and-dak-prescotts-backyard-privacy

"We've all been getting together pretty consistently for months now,'' the Pro Bowl receiver says of joining workouts led by QB Dak Prescott. "Working on route-running, working on the offense and everything like that. We've been getting a lot of work in, getting that timing right as if we were in minicamp or OTAs.''

And where did some of those pre-camp sessions take place?

Amari revealed that Prescott, while buying himself a handsome new home in Prosper, built a COVID-19-era-friendly football field ... in his backyard.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...cott-backyard-field-training-camp/3401938001/

How exactly could our franchise QB mot know Amari’s tendencies when he practiced with him like the “bus driver” Aikman did with Irvin? But also was doing it at D4K stadium, aka Dak’s backyard?

Right and left hash marks further guide work on the project he completed in late June. His “D4K” logo is spray-painted in blue across the middle of the field, visible from the balcony that overlooks Prescott’s pool and backyard. There’s a nod, also, to his mother’s dying wishes: her mantra "FAITH" painted across the end zone, a silhouette of Prescott’s signature point skyward adorning the "A."

“It was tough to find a place to throw,” Prescott said. “I put the foot down and said, ‘Hey, let’s get it going, it can give me somewhere every offseason.’”

I mean how many WRs you got to change when you working with them all the time?

How many times you going to respond to this ‘lunacy’ in desperation, as you watch Dak get outplayed by a practice squad player in his second career start?

Not only did you get to watch Rush find Amari last year against the Vikings, now you got to see him killing it in Cleveland with a backup QB and Jerry Jones makin comments that Rush could keep the starting job.

Full-on panic mode.

I will hand it to you Dak loons....you have vivid imaginations.

Yes, Rush outplayed Dak. You and the sensational national media are the only ones who actually believe that.

Oh, and 20 mill a year for Coop to drop two, count 'em, 2 key passes tonight, and also have no presence to know he is running out of bounds for 6 steps. It reminded me of when Cooper got thrown out of bounds vs the 49ers and then Dak had only 1 wr to throw to (Read: DAKS FAULT).

If he had an attitude it was because of the 40M bus driver.

That's two teams who didn't like his attitude. He was getting paid $20 million season and some games he wouldn't even show up.

He has the speed, the size, the hands, the route running. Why does he keep getting traded? Why didn't anyone else want him? I've seen people argue that he wasn't worth that, well if he's that good why isn't he worth 20 million a season?

Something happened after he signed the $100 million contract.
