You're agenda to slander the FO.

ive been defending jerry for a week lol and Despite the profile pic I’m typically positive about the team overall. Lol. Check my post history, I find the picture of Stephen to be funny and while I don’t agree with his philosophy 100% i don’t think he’s as bad as the fan base makes management out to be.

I have zero agenda.

Lol...you haven't paid attention, I doubt Cooper care about a brand, have you listen or paid attention to his personality? He said he's excited to be in Cleveland, does that sounds like someone who cares about a brand. Lol

while soft spoken and nonchalant he is an athlete with an agent. He wants to make as much money as possible. The benefits of playing for the cowboys are that you get more endorsements here whether that’s local brands or national brands. It doesn’t even have to be speaking roles it can be his likeness in a supermarket or Texas based chain. More endorsements means more money. It may not be his main motivation but He absolutely cares and being a cowboy is good business.

Him saying he’s happy being in Cleveland doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have restructured here. It’s also what he’s supposed to say since he just got traded there and saying “man this place sucks compared to Dallas” probably wouldn’t go over too well with the fan base and he may in fact be happy there….still doesn’t mean he wouldn’t restructure here.

lastly, I have no reason to lie about him saying he would restructure here. If I go back and find his radio spots and misinterpreted what he said I’ll admit that. - it makes zero difference to me but if you just stop trying to win an argument for a second and use your noodle what you’re saying doesn’t make sense.

you said “he loved Dallas” and he said it himself in the quote provided. we know he did a restructure in Cleveland. There’s no reason to believe that he wouldn’t have done one here in a place by his own admission he loved playing in and a place where he took less money to stay in free agency instead of going to Washington. if I end up being wrong about his interview quote it doesn’t change these facts.

Amari is a good WR no doubt. But top 5 talent? He was among the worst in yac last year and was dead last in yac for receivers over 800 yds. I was ok with trading him as long as we used that money saved on another WR(s) to fill his void. Jerry took that money and inexplicably pocketed it forcing Lamb to be something he’s not which is an outside WR1.

If he had gotten better thrown balls his yards after catch numbers would have been higher. For some reason Dak likes throwing behind his receivers . He's a top five wide receiver in my book. He'll take the top off a defense at any time.

He wanted to stay and the team didn't want him. The fans loved him and it is a huge marketing misstep to get rid of him unless there is a very good reason. That's not even to mention his talent and ability.

Wrong. Ceedee was among the league leaders in yac and broken tackles. I smell agennnda.

Dak Prescott aka "Wide Receiver Killer"

RIP Dez RIP Amari and soon to be RIP Ceedee
Yep...Amari Cooper was on track to make $20M a season after David Carr kept Amari on Pre-Life Support.

Dak Haters logic is paper thin

Oh please send me a link of all these passes that were thrown behind Ceedee. Otherwise I call BS.

Most games with Dak at QB are all the link you need, but I didn't say they were all behind him. Some of them just made him stop, dive, or jump. Seriously, if you can show me a game in which Dak threw 5 completions in stride, where the receiver didn't have to significantly slow down, stop, or jump for the ball, I'll stop making that assertion.

For as long as he hangs on at the ball to make a decision he better be throwing lasers like Troy Aikman. These passes are all over the place so he might as well be doing it while he's running. If he doesn't see the open receiver he can just run and pick up yardage.

In my opinion the most consistent offensive player for the Cowboys last 2 seasons has been Dalton Schultz, followed by Michael Gallup. This offense doesn’t need Amari Cooper especially for $20m/year. I’d rather have Pollard, Schultz, and Gallup over Amari, and that’s how you have to look at a salary capped league. Would it be nice to have Amari, yea… but who are you giving up to keep him. I’ll take Gallup, Schultz, and Pollard over Amari 10/10 times.

Coop looking elite with Jacoby Brissett. Not really much else to say.

I can think of one additional item. Wait until Deshaun Watson is starting Cleveland qb. I believe Amari Cooper stats will increase quite a bit. I am rooting for Amari, poor business decision by the Cowboys, never let emotions get in the way of business.

What does that have to do with anything? Stop trying to deflect we are discussing Amari.

This is the most *** thing I've read today. Lol...the QB literally has everything to do with a receiver. Amari gets the separation.....too bad Dak can't read, react, and make the throws even Brissett can make. They traded him for a bag of chips.

I said the same thing when we traded him. We have plenty of weapons so keeping him at 20 million is just not smart.

Did The Rams GM say “we have plenty of weapons” when they brought Von Miller and OBJ on board? Did the Bengals GM pass up on Ja’marr even though they had Tee and Mixon? What fantasy football league you in because whichever it is I am going to try to buy in like yesterday.

Dak Lover logic is he's somehow an elite QB. I watch the games and understand his

Plus we have like 22 million in cap space. So some of you rather Jerry pocket the money rather then bringing back a player that could help us

One of them regressed. And it ain't Cooper.

As others have said in other threads: If Cooper is such a great receiver being "dragged down" by Dak, maybe one of the 30 other teams would have outbid the Browns. Could nobody spare better than a 6th round pick for such a gamechanger, or is there more going on with Cooper behind the scenes that nobody knows about?

The Raiders and Cowboys both got Pro Bowl seasons out of Cooper and still traded him. Opinions about Dak Prescott aside, it cannot be argued that Coop disappeared far too often here to justify the money he was making. I wish him the best in Cleveland but eventually he might pull the same act up there too.
