Watching the eagles game yesterday, I got to see a pass rusher I've admired for years. That is cam Jordan from the saints. To me he was a force to be blocked, and got to the qb often.

Now it's obvious that there is two different body types in him vs Micah. Micah having the speed and Jordan having the power. My thoughts are what if Micah utilized more power instead of just rushing way up field at times.

I've seen other pass rushers this year utilize power to keep pushing back offensive lineman. This seems to be best at getting to the QB. What hurts us with mobile QBs is the fact that we give them lanes to run through. I hope we fix this going forward.
Parsons is very powerful for his size

He is just under sized for a DE.

I think you utilize exactly that with Micah up the middle in the Bucs game, if we happen to play them.

My strategy would be playing him 65 percent at LB, with about 50 percent at MLB, especially in the post-season.. he's more dangerous that way. The other times, you move him from LB to DE, and throw him in the at DE on handful of plays.

I would also like to see Sam Williams get a few reps at LB!

Have your biggest, strongest, fastest players package with Williams and Parsons at LB. That's how I'd stop the run. Utilize some old school 4-3 looking formations with our team. We have the guys with speed to cover the flats.

If your DTs can't get it done. Beef up your LBrs and bring the run stoppage reads with them. More risk of giving up big runs, though, which is why this defense is more of a bend don't break. Still, early on, if they break off a big run, it doesn't take time off the clock.

You can always revert back to your Nickel.

JMHO.
