Parsons sounds like he knows the weight of the team's fate is on his shoulders. The will be a team led by the defense and Parsons is ready to lead this defense, this team to victory.

This is why once he gets his new contract, he will be worth every penny. Not just puts fans in the stands and people want to watch.....but he carries and leads the defense. That is a franchise player.

That mentality. "Not worried if the offense scores 0 points. We can score on defense and I just want to go out there and kill some people I don't like."

That's that killer instinct this defense has missed for decades.

Need to reign back this bull and ice him down, just a little bit longer and you get to introduce yourself again to Tom and refresh his memory young stud.... MP, you are tempting the commish with that aggressive language and attitude.

Football is one of several athletic activities, whereby meanness is viewed as virtuous. Actually, uncivilized, yet so true . . . :omg:

“The Lion Suspended” - comments about killing people on the field a bad look for the NFL. Parsons suspended for hurting the brand.

Personally, I like hearing Parsons say he does not like other people. I believe a healthy amount of animosity is needed in sports and especially in team sports.

The NFL's fierceness has dulled somewhat since the introduction of the modern free agency in the 1990's. Players began moving between teams much more than they ever did before. They formed many more friendly bonds between each other. The evolution of social media has allowed players to enjoy more personal connections among themselves during the same period also.

So, it is refreshing to me seeing-and-hearing an "old school" mentality in today's NFL. It is not necessary for Parsons to be perceived as some sort of hate machine. He appears to be a very goodhearted young man, who is likely beloved by family and friends. What I like is a player who loves football so much that he wants to hurt other teams' players so he does not end up feeling personal heartache from losing. That is the purest form of sports passion in my book, something not really seen as often now as in days long gone.
I don’t think it’s possible to do in sports these days. These guys have played with each other for over 15 years sometimes longer.

Am I the only one who didn't hear "kill" come out of his mouth? I hear, "I'm ready to go into some people I don't like."

You know? A bit of that did come to mind. But no icing. We've been to soft for years. Lawrence is quiet and usually he's the aggressive speaker. I like that, he's honing in. I can see Sam Williams buying into that mentality too.

Get Anthony Barr and even the Wolf Hunter excited too? Worth a bit of a suspension, if possible. It's Dallas media, not national. Let this guy do his thing right now.

Let's not make it a big deal. 2:12 after. "Ï don't think there's not anybody out there I'm not trying to kill". Lol!

We're too soft and then too hard. It's preseason and he's playing Brady first game again. He's talking animal talk all offseason and now we're sweating this? He goes soft, we sweat.

He didn't say it at the beginning. He said "I don't think there's anyone out there I'm not trying to kill" at 2:13

Thank you. I thought it was referring to the beginning, and I didn't listen to the whole thing. I hate when I can't hear the questions being asked, so I usually won't stay tuned in for long.

OK then
Micah makes these comments...and it is great, and everyone loves it, as well as his comments.

But the other players, coaches, owner makes similar comments they get ragged...
Just an observation.

Most players talk trash without the evidence to back it up..... Players get ragged when their past record doesnt back up the forecast they're predicting, for them talk is cheap.

The only question pertaining to Parsons, is has he reached Chuck Norris level yet?
