The first step in getting where you want to go is understanding where you are.

Micah wants a giant bag of money and he understands that sucking up to Jerry and throwing the coaches under the bus is the way to go.

If his goals were to win championships he would need to be answering those questions in a different way.

Exactly......as a team and the way we are playing, NO were are NOT good. In fact, I posted in another thread, that we could be the worst team in the league. But again I'm pretty sure he's saying we are a better team than the record shows........lots of issues impacting this season

Ehhh...You and I normally agree but I have to disagree on this one. Micah is getting a massive bag whether it's here or elsewhere and the whole league knows it, especially him. He may be trying to say the right things here but I don't think he's worried about selling himself to Jerry. He might hate Jerry as much as we do.

Edit: For the record, it is really a stretch to say he was talking about coaching given the full quote.

The defense only gave up 20 points in 3 quarters is really turning things around? The defense gave up 27 points on the night (taking out the Texan's defensive score), which would be good enough for 29th best in the NFL this year, and he said that after a game where he had an entire single tackle (yes that was his box score for the night). Turning it around all right. That's like Dak saying he played great in the 4th quarter after crapping the bed for nearly 45 minutes.

I still like Micah, but man sometimes he just needs to stop talking, especially when not asked.

You all can tell yourself you suck all you want, you won't find many athletes that work their butts off, spend about 60 hours a week, practicing, lifting, studying, breaking down film and giving their heart and soul to their team, say that very often. I'd be critical if he said we sucked, saying we're a good team, is a positive. Jeez......sorry for the rant, I just hate fans that throw in the towel, say they want us to lose and then keep crying when we do!! Pathetic!!

I think you are mixing up people.

The people that want us to tank are not crying because we are losing.

The people crying about losing are miffed Micah's blowing so much smoke.

I hate losing....when we don't try hard, lotta screw ups, give up, that kind of thing. Now if we play like warriors right up to the end...fine. the "do your best" thing....I'm not sure we as an organization are doing that.

But I get some want to lose to hopefully force a change in our habitual situation.
