Micah's brother is ripping Rashan Gary

Well sure I don’t disagree at all, I do think paying Micah that GB money though wouldn’t haunted us long term though, not that we ever go buy high priced FAs though either
My thoughts are that most of the time, if this team acquires elite talent, it’s through dumb luck.

It also feels that it’s only a matter of time until they screw it up.

I just have so little faith in Jerry and his front office, that when something good happens, I don’t want to let it go.

Next test is GP.

If he balls out and outplays Lamb again, will the Cowboys find a way to keep an S tier talent or will they find a way to fumble the bag?

Hard to build perennially when the FO swaps out the coaching staff seasonally and draft philosophy changes as well as scheme and the FO will only hire coaches who will completely surrender to Jerry’s ego.

Yes. It’s also hard to build when their FA philosophy is poor.

They are constantly very very conservative when it comes to free agency.

But there should be times where a team is aggressive. If you think you’re close, acquire that extra player or two to put you over the top and worry about the cap later.

The cowboys never do that. They’re constantly crying poor and talking about pieces of the pie. When the truth is they could be more aggressive at times to get the team over the hump.

There are times a team should be aggressive and there are times a team should shed contracts and tear down a roster.

The Cowboys never bother trying to be aggressive.

Look at the Rams this offseason. They went to an NFC title game and decided to put all the chips on the table and go all in.

The Cowboys FO would never do that. They would be like “we are around the rim” and “maybe the ball will bounce our way next time” and “hey we just need the 5th round pick from 2 years ago to play well”

Best ability is availability. Gary will be more productive than Micah and his brother combined over the first quarter of the season.
