Micah's impact on takeaways

you tried to give him the majority of credit with no evidence to back it up
so you never had an argument to begin with

“No evidence” other than the 4 years of performance numbers since he joined the team and the 3 years of performance numbers before he joined the team.

But yea, other than that no evidence. Unless of course you want to argue that QB pressures don’t help lead to turnovers. You could make that argument but you would be stupid to do so.

There’s tons of evidence that Micah helps the defense generate turnovers.

The numbers are pretty clear that QB pressures increase turnovers.

Micah Parsons is #1 in the NFL in pressure rate since he joined the league. (That is pressured per snap where they pass rush).

Micah pressures the QB more than anyone. QB pressures lead to turnovers. Therefore, Micah is a key contributor to the Cowboys increase in takeaways since he joined the team.

If you want the Cowboys to trade him. That’s fine. You’re allowed to feel that way. People just shouldn’t pretend like the Cowboys defense isn’t SIGNIFICANTLY better when he is on the field. Because the difference in the defense with and without Micah is night and day.

Thank you. People are discounting how much impact Micah has even when he doesn't get sacks. Offenses have to account for him. Watch Hurts throw quick passes. Look at how GB had 3 guys to make sure Micah did not disrupt their passing game. The problem is Micah is alone out there. The Cowboys have not developed an impact DLman to help Micah and that is the bigger problem.
Sort of reminds you of the Demarcus Ware years.
