 What is the deal with him? HE went undrafted and it appears no one is even trying to sign him as an undrafted player.

1. Michael Bennett, DE, Texas A&M

Bennett is our highest-ranked free agent still available at this point. His ability to hold up against the run makes him a solid value as a five-technique in 3-4 defensive front.

6-3 265, he isn't big enough to play 3-4 end and he's probably too slow and not good enough to cover as an olb.

They weren't drafted to be 3-4 DEs, either. They are pass rush guys that must learn how to play OLB in the 3-4. They may just be more athletic than Michael Bennett.

I think Bennett is better suited to play as a DE in a 4-3 system than either a DE or OLB in a 3-4 system. I am not sure he is good enough to even do that, but a 4-3 better suits him.

He would have little chance to make our roster with Victor Butler and Brandon Williams being drafted and with DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, and Greg Ellis already on the roster.
