Michael Clayton - Bucs looking for trading partner

Michael Clayton, that had better be a pirated copy of the upcoming George Clooney movie and not the receiver.

if we can get away with giving a 5th or lower for him then I might be intrigued.

Well, Clayton does share Jerry Jones' birthday, and Jerry always liked the fact that Quincy Carter did, too.

The sad thing is, it's true.

If you share a birthday with Jerry, or you are his son (Stephen Jones, Jerry Jones Jr., or Clint Stoerner), then there's a place for you here.

Chambers runs a 4.33 in the 40, and a 42/3" vertical. After seeing him play, that would certainly make him a viable # 2 option. Owens-Chambers-Crayton-Witten-that could strike some fear in opponents. Who knows maybe Garrett will push for him he knows him first hand.

That's very good point that I forgot about. It could also work the other way though....

I wouldn't mind giving a mid-round choice for him. He has some talent... and he's big buddies with Marcus Spears. Maybe they could get each other going this year.

not sure there's a huge difference between Crayton and Clayton (talent and spelling)

David

Well, Crayton's team sees him as an integral part of its offense and is not trying to trade him, for one.

It's his 7th year in the league, meaning he has atleast 5 productive years left. I'm almost always against trading picks for players, but if Terry is out for the season spending a 4th on Chambers would be just fine by me.

Chambers would be nice, but the only reason that Schefter put out that rumor is because of his 5 million cap number this year. Miami has gone on record and squashed the rumor.

Of course they are trying to squash it because they don't want an upset player.... Jerry should seriously put an effort into acquiring Chambers, he's got the speed and pretty good hands. I believe he'll make a outstanding number 2.

So I should send Jerry my application?

Like you don't already work there.

And btw, if you really do share a birthday with Jerry... too scary.

I vote for Chambers, too. Dude has some skills.
Seems has always been good for at least a few circus catches and game-breaking plays every season. And that is coming from someone who doesn't pay much attention to the Phins.

David Boston will face DWI charges, so I don't believe the Buccaneers will be looking to unload him just yet.
