PFT had a blog about this. I guess Fitzgerald's calling him out on Twitter got Floyd back to working out. Larry praised him for his efforts in his follow-up tweet. Good leadership on Fitz's part to get Floyd in line. No, this ain't Notre Dame. :D

Michael Floyd gets back to work after Fitzgerald calls him out

Larry Fitzgerald @LarryFitzgerald

Just finished a great workout with @Wellefast. I'm charging
@MichaelMFloyd with a DWI "don't want it" he missed a 3rd
straight workout 2day.

Apparently Fitzgerald calling him out publicly was just what Floyd needed as motivation, because today Floyd was back to working out with Fitzgerald.

Kelly works their tails off at ND. Maybe Floyd somehow thought it would be easier in the pros. Have no idea why.

did some checking; apparently Kelly had to stay on Floyds rear end to keep him working hard. I guess like all too many WRs he is high maintenance.

There were rumblings that Andre Roberts was ahead of him on the depth chart. Good to hear him responding to Fitz's blasting.

Makes sense. I have no idea why ANY rookie would ever let themself believe the NFL was going to take - or accept - less than their best effort, either. If that's Floyd's sin, Fitzgerald, among others, will do his best to see him set free of it.

Roberts is pretty good in his own rite. I heard Floyd is #4 right now.

Oooph! Admittedly I haven't been much up on the OTA's and my depth chart lately. Is that behind Early Doucet? I'm a little upset about that if so. Floyd's gotta get it together man.

You have to love Fitzgerald.. The guy is a leader and is an amazing ball player... Good for him calling the rookie out...

Yes. It's so early though. He'll get his shot soon enough. In any case, that's not a bad quartet of WRs.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when I read it.

You have to credit alot of that to Kurt Warner

That's a good point but also Larry's father. I've read some pieces and seen some interviews and his father comes off as an EXCELLENT role model and man.

TRUE

He has been a great pro from day 1 in the league. I'm a Warner fan, but Fitz was Fitz long before Warner came aboard. Fitz nad his parents deserve the credit.
