You dislike what we've seen so far from Gallup?

He looked to run good routes in college. His scouting reports noted it as one of his strengths. So far, he seems to be doing well in preseason and camp.

I admit, we fans tend to get excited really fast when we see positives, a lot of the time prematurely. Jury's still out on the guy, but I don't see why after his performance thus far he doesn't have potential.

I didnt say I didnt like what I have seen from him. I just laugh at you saying how precise his routes are, which , with all due respect, I find as ridiculous as those that said Dez route's were so imprecise. Are you watching film on all Gallup's routes?

I said he can be one. As in, he has potential. He showed improvement all throughout his college career, and he seems as a rookie to be doing well learning the playbook.

Didn't say anything at all about Dez.

I remain optimistic, but it's just my opinion. A lot of others seem to share it. It'll be nice if it pans out.

Are his routes more precise than Hurns? What gives it away to you that his routes are Precise? Can you rank our WRs in order of best to worst in their preciseness?

I have no problem saying he looks good.... he does, I just struggle a bit with you saying he is so precise, when I think you are just grabbing tat out of think air. Now if you could show me video of him, being precise, and .... Twill not being precise and say hey, look at the difference, than ok. If not, its just a bunch of nothing .

I think Hurns looks pretty good as well. What both Hurns and Gallup have been praised for, by scouts and based on their tape is they have a good route tree and follow it well. I am no where nearly an expert enough to go through each and every WR and put them on a list. But the eyeball test and seeing Gallup's tape from college, and listening to people who are experts says that Gallup is coming along in learning the game very nicely for a rookie.

Clearly you're a much more knowledgeable expert than I am and disagree. I'd be interested to see where you rank Gallup and what critiques you've had over what you've seen him do.

This seems an odd thing to argue over honestly (if we are arguing, it seems so).

IM not arguing, and I damn sure dont study coaches film and rewind each play to watch the different WRs run their routes. You have now basically stated what I felt, you are not an expert to say his routes are so crisp and precise. I guess I just get a little peeved when I see posters talking like they have been a 20 year NFL coach, and I especially got tired of hearing how Dez didnt run precise routes. Well.... Ill take 1400 yards and 16tds from a crappy route runner all day long over precise and avg numbers Had you said ... coaches have said Gallup is a great route runner, I wouldnt have flinched

Gotcha. No worries. Nah, I'm absolutely going off my untrained Mk1 Eyeball and going off scouting reports, and coaches from College and here. I didn't think I needed to specify, but I understand what you're saying.

For what it's worth I didn't agree with dumping Dez.
