That Ware "This will never happen again" comment really scares me. I don't want Dez to lose that energy. This team has been so conditioned to mediocrity its very sad.

It made me sick. I remember someone on here during the draft said that wilcox was a dawg but that the cowboys were the wrong team for him b/c the country club atmosphere would neuter him instead of try to foster that attitude. That's what they're doing with Dez.

If he was talking about when Dez didn't want to get back on the field then I hope that doesn't happen again.

Sorry but Mike is Wrong. Mike screaming about being a Winner in COLLEGE & he was surrounded by LOSERS when he came to Dallas. I'm sorry but those guys played at a PRO LEVEL before YOU got there. Mike is wrong on this point: Dez is not Michael Irvin. He might be more talented, and he might wind up being a better player, but I sincerely doubt he will become the heart and soul of his football team like Irvin was. I don't see the intelligence, leadership, or maturity from Dez.

I don't know. Maybe five years from now Dez will put it all together and become a leader. But I doubt it. He'll be an amazing receiver though.

Dez is a winner. Losing is unacceptable to him. He rants when he should instead of smiling or looking lifeless on the sidelines. He is the first one to walk over to congratulate players when they make plays. You need guys like him and Lee if you want to break out of 8 and 8 mediocrity.

Just because guys are pros doesn't mean they have the desire to win. A lot of guys play because they have the talent. But don't think for a second because a guy is playing on the pro level they are necessarily winners.

I remember Michael Strahan saying about his own teammates, that when the Giants had to play the Cowboys and Larry Allen, guys would actually fake injuries or ailments so they wouldn't have to go against him. But ... but ... but ... these are professional players. Yeah, and they're human too.

You don't know what it was like, or how they were after a game, something Mike or Dez do see. You are just a fan, watching from your tv, eating lays potato chips.
