Thanks for the heads up...listening now.

Is he going to be on for 3 hours?

Yes, for today. Right now as you can listen, mostly Barry Bonds talk now I guess. But I am sure they will get into Cowboys talk later.

I just turned it on and im hearing a big race issue.

What a load of crap.

looks like it might be a permanent deal:

>>Meanwhile, word has it that Aikman's old pal Michael Irvin will soon be back in the broadcast business. This time on radio. His show will air in Dallas-Fort Worth on ESPN Radio. Stay tuned. <<

Yes, very intersting talk

And for those hollering race, the White Co-host (not sure what his name is) was the one that brought it up. I don't know if he is trying to bait Irvin or what, but he is the one that brought up the Race Issue.

Sweet!!!

Now all they need to do is bring Nate Newton aboard.

I don't think the John Radigan/Matt Mosley show was working out. The only problem is that they will be going head to head with Norm Hitzges.

Nate is on every week on Fox Sports Radio with James Washington and Craig Shemon. It's always a good segment.

I don't think it matters who brought it up, Irvin has a long history with division by race.

Cool, didn't know that.

Im not sure what time that show is but he was on JFE's show and after that he came on with John Radigan on ESPN Radio.

Recap of last segment. Next segment they will be talking Boys/Skins...stay tuned.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Irvin:Always a good game. When we were good they would beat us and when they were good (1-15 Season) we would beat them.

Irvin:This is the game that they have to watch out for

Co-host:They can hurt the Cowboys up the middle because we lost fergie

Co-host:Hand the ball off the Portis, receivers are bad

Irvin:says the Skins have speed at receiver

Irvin:When they went into the ROH, at halftime against the Commanders. We lose the game (Santana Moss back to back TDs). He was at a restaurant off of Beltline in Dallas. Dan Snyder calls him and says he wanted to congratulate him on the ROH induction but then bragged about the Commanders victory. This rivalry goes all the way to the top.

Irvin:Snyder just wants to beat the Dallas Cowboys

Co-host:The Dallas Game is their Super Bowl.

Irvin:The Cowboys have rivalries every week, so the Cowboys fans have a hard time getting up to it.

Irvin:Cowboys have to get off to a quick start. Commanders are going to try and run the ball. Throw the ball deep and let T.O. out.

Irvin:Says he is an expert because he has won rings.

Irvin:The biggest thing that has happened to the Cowboys is? If you can answer this question he will take you out to dinner.

Who's the other guy on with Irvin? Not sure I like him.

But then, Mike gets on my nerves, too.

OTOH, I love Nate. He doesn't scream at me. He's been being on almost every day from 11:00 to noon.

Wait, they just said, that other guy is Kevin Kiley? The guy who's done ESPN games forever? I always thought he was pretty good as a color commentator. Not sure if he works as a radio guy.

(Vegas sets over/under at Ticket sucks/rules p### fight in four posts from now.)

nice recap, mick - true story regarding rivalries. Dallas is all that matters up here in the northeast. Not true re: Commanders in Dallas, I'd suspect.

edit: I'm enjoying Kevin Kiley - he's the set-up guy for Michael. It's the same deal Shemon and J-Dub have on Out of Bounds on Fox, only Michael is better than J-Dub IMO.

We have a couple of Skins fans here at work. They were real quiet after the 52-7 blowout to the Patriots (see sig).

Funny, the only thing they have to hang their hat on is the fact that we lost to the Patriots (like they did) and that we aren't going to win the Super Bowl anyway.

Kind of sucks when you care about another team losing more than your team winning.

The only time I see Dallas locals act in this same manner is when it comes to the Spurs.

Great segment here regarding the Cheatriots, Bellichick and such.

Michael mentioned something first about how he feels it is outrageous that sportscasters can look condescendingly on WRs who go into the end zone, and cry about them showing up their opponent - but when Bellichick cheats, it's not a big deal, and when he runs up the score showing up his opponent, it's not a big deal. Mentioned Jaworski directly.

Hansen went on with the effect Bellichick's cheating had on his winning. Main gist - it must have had SOME effect, otherwise why risk what bellichick risked? Michael made the point that it is likely STILL affecting the game because they still have knowledge of things the other team is doing. Kevin suggested that other teams should have just changed their entire way of doing things to accomodate the Cheatriots, and Michael and Dale let him know that he was ********.

Frankly, this show is really good so far.
