Kind of sucks when you care about another team losing more than your team winning.
- Mike G.

I say this and believe it to be true... I believe a majority of the Skin fans hate the Cowboys more than they love the skins... for instance if the Skins needed the Cowboys to win a game to allow them to advance to the playoffs...They would not root for the Cowboys to win that game. Very, very silly I know...but such is their hate.

I'm listening now. I don't agree with the race card topic now. They are saying if a black coach would have done what Bill Belichek did, the black coach would be out of the league. There is no way Tony Dungy would have been out of the league for doing what Bill did. Dale Hansen brought up the topic. Dale agreed with Mike. I think Dale is trying to get in with the black crowd.

I bet the reason why Mike said the success of the Cowboys this year is b/c of Bill Parcell's departure.

Nope. Someone already tried that.

My guess is the attacking defense. But it's going to be something obscure - Michael doesn't want to take some random person to lunch, lol.

edit: lol....Michael says it's the Terry Glenn injury - because now Romo doesnt have to worry about getting the ball to Glenn, and he can focus on TO.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, lol.

This is Hansen's M.O.. It's what he does at this stage of his career. And why I haven't watched or listened to him in several yrs. He knows it's a hot-button issue (and lacks genuine insight/expertise/interest in football) and will generate buzz. That's what he's all about.

I'm sorry Mike, but this time I have to disagree with you. Mike said that the reason why the Cowboys are successful this year is b/c of Terry Glenn's injury. B/C Terry is not playing in the lineup? I don't think so...

I hope he meant because every one else has had to get involved ....

No, Dale has always been that way.

He was the same way when it came to issues involving Quincy Carter.

You're assuming that all blacks agree, in which you would be horribly wrong.

I really do not think race comes into anything at all important any more in the NFL. As regards coaching, that has pretty much gone away. It always was more of a comfort thing with the GM and owners (which explains why mediocre guys like Norv keep getting HC slots). They prefer to try someone who has previous HC experience- even if they did not do well. Lets face it: Wade was not all that great as a HC. As regards players, I think there is nothing there at all anymore.

i think Glenn will be a slot reciever in spots,taking hurds spot.which is fine with me.having glenn as a slot is wicked.i think irvin should rephrase that.

I'm saying I don't agree.

No, you said he was trying to get the "black" crowd. But he could only do that if all blacks agreed with what he was saying, which they dont.

This stuff is Hilarous.

Mike is talking about how he went into business with his ex-Wide Receivers Coach to make up for all the times he ripped him on the sidelines.

He is also talking about conversations he had with Aikman on the sidelines. He says he would never go after Aikman and would be real gentle.

<conversation>
Mike: (very quietly) Hey Troy when you look for me I will be open.

Troy:I did look for you and there were 2 guys on you.

Mike:No...I know you saw 2 guys but they really weren't there.
</conversation>

:laugh2: :bow:

I love how Mike says he will not say "we" when referring to the Dallas Cowboys and he still does it. Mike, just let your heart talk for you. You can still say "WE", when referring to the Cowboys.

C'mon man...all blacks (including myself) think alike.

Heck, we all even have the same leader .

:laugh2:

I enjoy listening to Irvin. He is a passionate and animated speaker laced with lot of humor.

His HOF speech was priceless.
Yeah, without a doubt that was one of the best and passionate speech I've heard and I've heard lot of speeches from many great military leaders (IMO).
